I wouldn't think so, otherwise everyone would be doing that and it would kinda trivialize the whole concept of the lightning deal. But I don't know for sure.

The prices will not adjust automatically. You must add the item to your cart during the lightning deal time frame to get the discount.

Thanks for posting. I'll probably try and pick up Batman Begins and The Dark Knight from Wal-Mart at midnight tonight, then if I can get the lightning deal from Amazon I'll just return the Wal-Mart ones.

Question - if you put it in your cart beforehand, will the price adjust if you complete the order during the sale?
I start work half an hour before the 4:30 AM items go on sale, and am thinking if I get it all set up half an hour early, then when the sale starts, I just complete the sale, I will only be sneaking onto the net for a few seconds while working. I just don't want to miss out on some of these deals.

Personally, I liked Weeds for the first two seasons, three was okay and season four took am absolute death spiral. Mad Men on the other hand is an amazing show, completely worth blind-buying.

The lightning deal for 2PM PST says, "I love the smell of Napalm on Thankgiving." I'm assuming Apocalypse Now...

I'll agree with the Weeds opinions. The first two-to-three seasons were really strong, but the last couple have just been pretty awful. If I hadn't invested so much time in the series already, I would've stopped watching at this point (like 24 towards the end). Mad Men is a really good show, but you have to have patience and enjoy slow-paced shows.

Anybody else watching the Gold Box lightning deals? There's a clue posted for a deal at 2:00 P.M. PST that says, "I love the smell of napalm on Thanksgiving."
Possible deal on Apocalypse Now BD?
EDIT: Moopher beat me...

Thanks for the notification on the possible Apocalypse Now Lightning Deal, I was hoping something might happen with that (though it'll probably be for the two-disc edition instead of the Full Disclosure).

Anyone noticing a bizarre trend in the low priced blu-rays... they keep going down $0.50 each day or dropping a full dollar.
Like Fanboys was $7.99 on Monday and now it's $6.99 on Thursday.
Same with some other stuff like The Mist, Lonesome Dove, and so on.
Sucks since I've already ordered a few of them and they haven't even reached me.

So Lost is $124.99...Hmm, what to do. This would be a blind buy. I've heard about the last season being a letdown, but it sounds like everything up until the last episode was pretty good. So is $125 worth the buy and investing time in?

Re: Amazon Black Friday Sales Start Monday, November 22nd
Up until the last episode of Lost I was anxiously anticipating buying the entire series on blu. After the last episode I had no desire to revisit the show. I DID go back and watch the pilot and man..it was really a magnetic show...pretty amazing. But yeah..that last episode killed the epic-ness of it for me. This doesn't really help with you decision though...YMMV

Lost was always about the journey and not the destination. At $125, though... it's kind of hard to say jump on it if you've never seen it before. I mean, you could probably easily find the individual seasons for cheaper later on. It's not like it's an HBO show like The Wire that barely ever goes down in price.
