That is just exactly at my price point for this one so I am buying. Thanks a lot.

Anyone have an idea why Mad Men is selling at the lightening price a full day and half early? I'm glad to catch them, but I wouldn't have without you guys talking about it. Thanks, Team Blu-ray. Happy Thanksgiving for those who celebrate the day by eating way too much and spilling cranberry sauce on their white shirts.

The Mad Men lightning deal was dependent on them reaching 50,000 followers on Facebook, which didn't happen. Luckily, they chose to offering the sets for $9.99 for the next 3 days anyway (likely due to price matching BestBuy.com).

My rule is that I won't start watching a TV series until it is over because I will get caught up and then not get the current season on DVD/Blu for a while and then I feel like I have to re-watch the whole series. There are a few key exceptions as always.

I understand the approach but both my wife and I enjoy talking with friends about the series. It's not something that occurs that often when one series becomes a topic of conversation any more, least not for us. The other consideration is that this series may go on for years before your approach can go into effect. This series is a big deal for AMC sort of like what The Sopranos was to HBO.

Predators and Saving Private Ryan will be $9.99 - The Hurt Locker will be $7.99.

You can get Predators and Saving Private Ryan right now on BestBuy.com for that price
with free shipping. Unfortunately The Hurt Locker is priced at $14.99 there.

Glad BestBuy.com did this for SPR - won't be home to order it via Amazon.com

No need to duck. Only if you personally know someone that you wonder if they have the same DNA because you REALLY like the same things.

I know people that I truly respect that didn't get into the series and those that are crazy about it. No way of knowing.

Is this the corrected version of SPR? I seem to remember some audio sync issue with the old disc?

I would say no; but for this price, you can always sell the sets and be out nothing.

I'm tempted by the newly-released Tommy for $11.49. But seeing all these other catalog titles for $7.99, something tells me I should hold out. What do you guys think? It's a Sony title that's 63% off. Will I see any better?

I'll be getting Legion and Batman Begins, possibly Angels and Demons but I doubt it.

Predators, Saving Private Ryan, The Hurt Locker, are the 5 dollar blu's.

When will these be $5?

I don't see where the Saving Private Ryan BR will be $5 anywhere, it's listed as $9.99 during tomorrow's 8:30am(PST) lightning sale along with the Pelham BR ($5.00) and The Hurt Locker BR ($9.99)

Predators and SPR will not be $5; they will be $9.99. The post you quote is in error. (The other listed titles will be $5).

Hurt Locker will be $7.99 for DVD and $9.99 for Blu.

The Hurt Locker DVD will be $7.99 in the lightning deal; BD will be $9.99.

Everybody keep your eyes on those formats while feverishly clicking so you get the one you want!

The price on lost complete series on blu-ray is disappointing I was counting on $99.99 I think I will have to wait until it drops that low, battlestar dropped earlier this year so hopefully this will too.

if you have items that are in your cart now, will they adjust automatically during the lightning deal time frame and thus no need to re-add item through lightning link?
