Black Friday Deals 2010

I did some searching on google.com, but did not find anything great yet.

If anyone sees something great for BR, please post here so we all can share in the Blu-Ray fun.

Thanks...

How is this a bargain?

Iron Giant is just starting the thread, thx Iron for doing that. Believe me, if it is anything like last year there will hopefully be pages upon pages of deals and discussion. I'm guessing we'll probably start seeing some ads hopefully by the end of next week.

??? Why would you even thank to OP ??? Did he post an awsome deal or any info about BF deals ? Any of us could have post this here but we dont and there is a reason for it b/c it is not a bargain. This is the 3rd or 4th BF deals thread with no deals in it.

Whatever, gosh forbid you all just jump down his throat instead. I just looked back in the past month of Blu threads and don't even see anything about Black Friday posted yet. If it's such a big deal then a mod should just lock the thread then until that week I guess. sheesh

I was hoping to see some deals already posted as well, but no need to jump all over the guy for starting up something that I did not yet see posted here that will obviously get used.

There's always a thread containing a list of reported and rumored BF deals. This seems like a good a place as any to start the list. Relax, mmkay?

I'd better go start a thread about the exciting post-Xmas deals that aren't up yet, but I bet are going to be awesome.

The OP should've known better but no need to jump down the guy's throat. Usually Black Friday announcements here look a lot like the Target weekly ads posted here for those that don't want to open a thread without deals.

Some stores are having early Black Friday deals:

Walmart has this disney Blu-Day special:

We should all be a little nicer (tis the season, or whatever)

I "think" the rules concerning Black Friday discussion at DVDtalk is only ads that have been released by the retailer can be posted and discussed. I could have swore that a recent thread in the last week on BF deals was locked and that policy stated in the thread.

No fear of a rule violation here, since this thread doesn't say anything! I see no point of starting a thread like this until at least ONE Black Friday deal exists. Right now, this is pointless. I hope a mod closes it, so when a BF ad is actually posted, we will go to the appropriate thread...

What's the big deal? No need to post rules and lock threads. We're gonna need a dedicated thread in less than a week or two. I say just keep this thread alive and post links to ads/bargains in the OP.

That only works IF the OP is willing to take the time to do that... If the first thread doesn't get updated, this thread is pointless... Perhaps Iron Giant is planning on doing that. He didn't really say...

From what I understand, Amazon is doing pre-Black Friday gold box deals every Friday in Nov. I think one of the up coming Fridays will be movie centric.
