Are most of you using a printout of the 30% off phone code or actually showing them the text on your phone? I know at least 1 person said he used a printout, but for the rest of you using a phone code are they asking to see your phone or just taking the printout? (I realize it's always YMMV at Best Deny, but I'm still curious). I'm thinking I'd rather use the phone code printout than my 1 original which I'm hoping to save for 11/14. I still doubt it'll work but you never know. I'll be going by Best Deny once this week and on 11/14. 2 chances to try and be denied. :-)

They wouldn't override the sale on Scott Pilgrim for me but I was told that I should tell the cashier to enter the number as a SKU when I go to use it later.

Worked for me on Scott Pilgrim. $18.89 before tax. The cashier was not going to accept the coupon because it said it was for regularly priced items only and SP was on sale. Bu then she then took it upon herself to scan it anyway to see if it would work and it did. Lucked out on that one.

I'm amazed to say I was able to use it on Doctor Who today... $45.49+tax... Then I went back and bought The Killers and From Paris With Love for $9.09 each. I made sure I got the same cashier. The other cashier had a radio earpiece, so I definitely didn't want him. He tried to take me, but I said "oh, I forgot to get something" so I wasted some time, then went back when he was with another customer...

Coupon worked on Scott Pilgrim for me too. Just handed it to him, he never said a word and just scanned it and it worked. $18.89 out the door.

new girl needed help getting the code to work but the guy next to her told her what to do no questions asked--wasn't until he saw the total after my $10 reward zone coupon that he gave me a look like i was robbing the place but didn't say anything so $9.66 for the Scott Pilgrim bluray makes me a happy boy

Worked fine for me this morning at Best Buy for Scott Pilgrim... pulled up this on my iPhone: http://m.bestbuy.com/mobile/coupons/core-1242489.html Handed it to the cashier and she put the code right in.
Had an additional $5 RZ GC bringing it down to $13.89 plus taxes... $15 and change out the door.
This was at the Lakeline Mall location in North Austin and they had a stack of about 10 copies right out front. The Arboretum location was COMPLETELY out. (luckily they are almost exactly between where I live)
Whomever orders for the Austin market is a complete moron. The movie was a COMPLETE phenomenon out here and I expect Lakeline to be out by the end of the day (it's closer to those Cedar Park squares... less nerd traffic )

Had no problems just now trying to use it with Scott Pilgrim. The cashier knew it shouldnt work and tried to deny it but since it was on sale for $26.99 and for some reason teh white sticker on the from said the normal price was $27.99 (instead of $29.99?) I asked to see the manager and instead she just scanned the coupon and it worked with no problems. $18.89+tax out the door!

Just picked up Scott Pilgrim with the code - no problems. The lady didn't want to let me use my RZ GC as well as the coupon code because "They computer sees them as the same thing, so it won't work." I had her humor me and try it out - $8.89 out the pocket for me.

I got totally boned at the BB in El Segundo, CA with SCOTT PILGRIM. First, the coupon wouldn't scan. Then I went to the manager and they wouldn't override it with the regular price sale. THEN the manager got snippy when I tried to at least price-match it to the Target Ad.

Got shot down today when I tried to get a credit with my receipt for TS3. Gave the same excuse as everyone else here got. "not good on sale priced items"

I was able to get a refund of 30% on my "V" SteelBook I bought last week, but they made me re-buy it at $39.99 rather than $34.99. Stinks, but I still got it for $29.xx after tax, which is fine by me.

I just received a small book of coupons from BestBuy in the mail today with this one in it. No phone needed.
LOL at fine print: "Excludes Avatar". That's specific.

Was able to PM to Target for $24.99, use the 30% and had a $10 RZ GC... $9.42 out the door! Couldn't be happier!

Finally got luck with a coupon. Girl asked me what 30% off of $26.99 was. I told her to type in the price x .3. She decided just to make it $18.00 total out the door.

It actually comes up on the screen as a warning when they apply the coupon. The funny thing is, Avatar comes out 2 days AFTER the coupon expires. As for the original one-disc release, I would think they'd be HAPPY to sell those at 30% off, since no one will be buying it once the new release comes out...

i must've gotten a new hire or something because she had no clue what to do with a mobile code. She had to ask another cashier what to do, then when only one of my three items was discounted she called the manager to help with the rest.
i also got a coupon book in the mail w/ the 30% coupon and plan on getting another 3 BDs - the mobile code & coupon bar code are different nos., so i assume it'll work....

Thanks to those who posted earlier whether you showed your phone or a printout. IIRC, most people showed the phone but at least 1 person just handed a printout. Did anyone get denied only showing a printout and being told a phone is required? I can't show it on my phone not having a smart phone. I'll just try the printout and if that doesn't work I'll pull out my mailed coupon. My experience with Best Deny is if I get someone clueless, they almost always run to a supervisor for help and the supervisors usually stand there and watch the transaction. So if I hand over the printout, will the cashier run over to ask a supervisor if a printout can be used instead of a phone at which point the supervisor will notice I'm buying sale items and make sure I can't use the coupon, or do I start with the printed coupon I had hoped to save for my longshot chance at Lost S6 BD on Sunday? It's all a crapshoot and YMMV.

Got Scott Pilgrim for $10 and change yesterday (had a $10 GC)
Don't have a data plan or a smart phone. Just brought in a print-out. It helps to go at off peak hours (not after 5 or on the weekends) when they put the shlubby low-rent cashiers out. Find the one that looks like they don't give a crap. Then, prompt them. I simply said that I read online that you have to enter the numbers like a UPC, then scan the item and hit total. The cashier didn't even read the coupon, he just said "well, let's see if it works" and did it. Then I had to show him how to make the gift card work, by scratching off the foil on the back. duuuuuhhhhh... a little hand-holding is all they need.
