If "The Sound of Music" is a real digibook, I'll probably buy it. If it's packaged like "Rocky Horror," I'll have to think long and hard about it, because I didn't like that at all. I'll be counting on doctorthodt for pictures of it and for pictures of it next to other digibooks.

Wow the buzz lightyear packaging for Toy story is advertised 6 dollars cheaper than what the iron man metal pack was. Definately dont think any Targets will willing price match this like iron man though. Will be intresting to see if the potential 10.00 off coupon will be accepted for it though.

Very cool that the sound of music digi book is only 19.99 I will definately be picking that up at that price.

Has anyone seen the Video Games portion of the ad? Rumor is there's a B2G1 sale next week, but I have yet to see an ad confirming it.

Haha. Why isn't Rocky Horror a real digibook? It's the same height and build; the only real differences are that it's a bit thinner than most and the disc is in a sleeve rather than a tray.

Considering they're both Fox, I'd expect The Sound of Music to be exactly the same.

I don't like the way they made that Buzz Lightyear set. Why add on a "backpack" that holds the discs knowing kids are gonna want to play with it? Definitely gonna have to skip out on it unless it comes w/ a seperate case for the movies.

I guess Disney is going to wait until practically the last minute... probably this Friday before the $10 off TS3 coupon is alive. People have been talking about it for a while, so if it doesn't materialize, it'll be a HUGE letdown.

Thanks for the prices.

I think a lot of us just canceled our SoM pre-orders.

Any info on prices for the reissued 'Band on the Run'?

Yes, that's an excellent price and I have it pre-ordered.

I was just wondering if either Target or Best Buy will have some kind of exclusive bonus disc or something.

The tray vs. sleeve is what I was referring to. Considering this has three (?) discs, I'm a bit worried how they'll be held, especially since one is a DVD, isn't it?

I'll probably still buy it, but I wish it had a digipak tray like WB and Sony digibooks.

Mater's Tall Tales not in the ad. Probably not going to get a coupon from Disney for it either. Perhaps they'll do one of those save X amount if you buy TS3 & Mater on the same receipt at some stores.

 Yes it is -- right next to The Pacific; $19.99 for the BD, $15.99 for the DVD.

is there a $10.00 off coupon somewhere for TS3?

so stupid that the Best Buy Ironpack™ only holds 3 discs.

I'll probably still buy it, but I wish it had a digipak tray like WB and Sony digibooks.

Since the tray is called a "digipak" and the book is called a "digibook" it does kind of seem like not having the tray is not a digibook.

I was hoping for a better price on The Pacific.

Err, I think a digibook is defined far more by the fact that it has pages, rather than how the disc is stored.
