I ordered these back when they were listed and amazon hasn't shipped them. They also emailed me today saying they need my approval to keep the order active or else they'll cancel it. WTF?

I just checked and it's switched to "Shipping Soon" and "This portion of your order is being prepared for shipment and cannot be canceled or changed." Yesterday it was still open. No emails and the delivery estimate is Jan. 6. I paid $12.99 for it back when this thread ran. Thought it was another Grindhouse price error, but looks like I just saved a buck, but a buck's a buck.

I ordered mine first day they were up for pre order, and I got a delayed notice on both.
was not to happy about this back when desperado had the release date for 1/11 and Once upon had the 1/4 release date. After they had both changed to the 1/4 date i was all set for a Mariachi trilogy marathon tonight.
Wal mart online had desperado/mariach for sale for 13.86 ( 1 dollar more not to mention the tax than my amazon 12.99 price) and Once upon for 14.86 (again 1 dollar more in addition to the sales tax than my amazon 13.99 price) so i got a price match at bestbuy, I will return my amazon copies to best buy once they arrive, since they are the same titles. my once upon a time is now showing as shipping soon while mariachi shows shipping between the 6th and the 10th.

interesting...I got mine today. Man...I love Desperado. The only thing I hate about it is the way the menu is. Nothing fancy and kind of slow. I hit director's commentary a sub tab pops up and it gives me the option of on and off..why not just have that option immediately? ANYWAY...great BD.

With the cheap Sony titles I've been picking up this month, I'm tempted to cancel my order and wait out a sale. But a 9.99 deal woulde only be $4 saved and now I'm kind of geeked to watch it (no thanks to you, Solid Snake 
).

Solid snake can you confirm that the UPC for these from amazon is the same as bestbuy. ( i know they most likely are I just want to confirm since I went ahead and bought at bestbuy today before i got confirmation of my new shipdates from amazon) and will be wanting to return them to bestbuy once i get them from amazon since i have opened my bestbuy copies to watch tonight.
