What are the chances of Amazon matching this? I really want the Wrong Turn trilogy, but no stores around me (Southern CT) have it in stock. And I'd rather not pay the tax and shipping, especially since I have an Amazon Prime membership.

Yeah, I hate taxes...I'm really wanting to get Death Proof, Planet Terror, Pandorum, Frozen, 28 Days later, The Fly, The Mist, Silence of The Lambs, and Dawn of The Dead (original)

I hate taxes too, but on cheaper titles like these, I don't mind paying the extra 60 cents on a $10 title in order to get the reward zone points. Anything over $20 though, I try my damnedest to avoid paying taxes on it.

Picked up Daybreakers and Hostel tonight.
Decided to hold off on Evil Dead right now, since all my local store had was the BD (without DVD features disc). Also going to hold off on Frozen for now, since I'm trying to do away with blind buying.
My local BB had 6-7 copies, but all the single BD version unfortunately.

Since there's a lot of talk about Frozen here, I bought it as a blind buy. The reviews seemed to give it positive marks, but that doesn't mean a whole lot. I blind bought Trick 'r Treat based on all the glowing reviews, and while it was well done and didn't suck, it wasn't anything to get excited about either.
Anyway, I was at Kmart killing time before Best Buy opened so I could pick up my Frozen and Iron Man 2 BDs. As I walk into the electronics section there are 3 employees with a female employee with a very loud voice talking about 3 people trapped on a ski lift. Then she started saying what the guy did and what happened to him next. Then I realized she must be talking about Frozen and she just spoiled the first thing that happened for me, so I quickly put the stuff I'm carrying under my chin and clap both hands over my ears, but she has a REALLY loud voice and I can still hear her so I have to start humming. About 5 minutes later I remove my hands for a second and she's still blabbing about people in the snow, so I put my hands back. Finally after about 10 minutes she stopped and they all went away. She must've recounted every detail of the entire movie to the other 2 employees. I was walking around electronics in front of them with my hands over my ears for the whole time while going through the electronics section (coming up empty-handed as usual) and I guess they couldn't take a hint. I felt like saying "shut up, you bi..., just because your lame coworkers want you to spoil the movie doesn't mean I DO". But I didn't say anything. It just made for an unpleasant 10 minutes walking around like that and humming. Too bad other people can't do it in private or talk about movies without spoiling them. The reviews I read about Frozen off DVD Basen didn't spoil anything.

Re: Big horror sale @ Best Buy. Evil Dead, Frozen, The Mist.. $9.99 (more)
Went to my local Best Buy today and good God there are alot of titles for 9.99 that I wanted. Money being tight, I settled on Evil Dead. I really wanted Hatchet at 9.99, especially since they only had one copy left. I got semi-wood when I saw Halloween, but went limp when I peered closer and realized it was Zombiefied.

Considering Evil Dead just came out, I wouldn't be expecting a new release any time soon. There's been talks for a while of a Ultimate Edition BD for Dawn of the Dead, but I dunno if/when it will actually happen. Evil Dead 2 is more of a wild card.

Next year is the 30th anniversary of Evil Dead, we might get a double dip. Knowing Anchor Bay we will get a new edition everyday of the year.

I don't understand how come the Evil Dead LE BD is so scarce in most places already. In fact wherever I've seen it (Walmart, Target, FYE and BJs) there's only been the LE. When I picked it up at BBy yesterday I got the LE (I will return my $17 copy to WM) and there were 3-4 more on the shelves.

Yes, if you grabbed an early copy, it came with a digital copy (Some stores still have these initial release copies). It says Digital Copy on the sticker on the slipcover. It's also listed on the back of the slipcover, disc 1: movie and special features and disc 2: digital copy. Just look on the back of the slipcover.

An easy way to tell with Daybreakers is the slipcover - those ones have the digital copy inside (you can also look at the back (for the digital copy), or the UPC (the digital copy version has a small "80" on the end.. the Blu-only one has an "81").
Also keep an eye out for SAW VI - only the ones with a sticker on the front include the SAW I blu-ray.

I picked up The Mist and Frozen. It seems like I might need to do a firmware update for Frozen, the trailers play but it never gets to the menu for the movie itself. Anyone else have this happen?
