$14.28 a pop (pre S+H), pretty darn good deal.
Kind of a tough thing though....great for peeps who have none of them, but if you are into this sort of movie or Corman in general...who doesn't at least have one already?
They have more Corman blus on the way don't they? Wonder if they will keep adding and expanding this offer.

Yup. I'd be all over this if I didn't already own 3 of them.Originally Posted by GoldenWheels

Well for people who held out or were just too broke when these came out, this is a great deal then. I'd have been extra wary if there was another 7 on the way, cuz you know they'd package that too.Originally Posted by NoirFan

(though frankly I'd have to be PAID to watch Starcrash again. WOOF.)

Already own two of them, but that's a solid deal for anyone wanting all.

I own six of the seven and of the six haven't watched Star Crash (I don't own RRHS). Out of the remaining I only had difficulty with Galaxy of Terror. It's a slower, cerebral B film with a lot of visuals. I did not find as much fun even though it was still cool to see a certain actress involved and more importantly, what happens to her. I doubt I'd return to it frequently. But it's nice to own as it showcases some of James Cameron's early art direction.
The others, especially Death Race 2000 and Forbidden World I could re-visit often; although Piranha is drier than its over the top sequel, which I actually enjoy much more and could return to frequently.

If you're a fan of cheesy, low-budget B-movies, then the replay value is pretty high. All of the films except Humanoids have commentary tracks - Starcrash, Death Race 2000 and Rn'RHS have 2, 2, and 4 (!) respectively - so there's that form of replay value as well, plus each disc has plenty of other extras, and all have pretty solid transfers given the source material and limited restoration budgets of Shout! Factory. I've enjoyed all of them greatly.Originally Posted by jwstl

I have all of them except RnRHS which I don't like. I can't recommend these films enough and these releases are like the Criterions of B-movies. They are stunning looking.

I had 3 of these in my shopping cart so I went ahead and took the plunge. Shipping was free as well.

I would be a buyer at about half that price.

That's what I decided as well. I could see myself viewing them once but doubt they would hold much replay value to me. If they were under $10 each I might bite.Originally Posted by SterlingBen
