Iron Man 2 Blu Ray steel Case at Target
Target has the limited edition steel case blu ray for $34.99. Bestbuy has 3 discs combo pack $24.99 (doorbuster sales $21.99). Does anybody know what extra is come with the Target's limited edition? Is it worth to spend extra $10 for the steel case? Anybody is going buy this from Target? Just need opinion.
Thanks, http://www.target.com/Discs-Blu-ray-.../dp/B003UY0HR4 |
Re: Iron Man 2 Blu Ray steel Case at Target
Nothing different except the case. Also, next week, Best Buy will have the 3 disc combo pack for $19.99

Re: Iron Man 2 Blu Ray steel Case at Target
You can get the same contents for $20 at Best Buy next week (or buy this week and get an adjustment next week).
So unless you think the case itself is worth 15-17 depending on if you order online or in-store I would just go the cheaper route. Re: Iron Man 2 Blu Ray steel Case at Target
The case is pretty nice. Still debating if it is worth to spend extra $15 for the steel case....

Re: Iron Man 2 Blu Ray steel Case at Target
I paid more for the steelbook of the first movie, so I might as well. I don't like the cover art of the normal release anyway...

Re: Iron Man 2 Blu Ray steel Case at Target
Looking at the 1st pic, the red sticker said only 30,000 made.

Re: Iron Man 2 Blu Ray steel Case at Target
The front cover is lenticular affixed on the metalpack.

Re: Iron Man 2 Blu Ray steel Case at Target
I think both online & in-store prices are almost the same.
If you go to Online route, price is $34.99 + $0.99 s/h = $35.98. Or if go to In-store route, price will be $36.99. |
Re: Iron Man 2 Blu Ray steel Case at Target
Nice case, but not worth the extra cost to me. Just glad Disney don't do this.
Btw, I'm sure the IM2 SB eventually will be available cheaper on Amazon UK or Germany. |
Re: Iron Man 2 Blu Ray steel Case at Target
^^^ There are no metal case available @ Amazon.co.uk.

Re: Iron Man 2 Blu Ray steel Case at Target
looks nice but that spine sucks, not worth 36.99 IMO. think i will just get the bb one for 20.

Re: Iron Man 2 Blu Ray steel Case at Target
Yeah, just a heads up, the week of Sunday Oct 3-Oct 9, the same set (without the iron book of course) will be 19.99 at Best Buy.

Oh and dear lord, that spine is freaking hideous. Are all steel packs like that? |
Re: Iron Man 2 Blu Ray steel Case at Target
wow didnt know target was down to 20 stores.

Re: Iron Man 2 Blu Ray steel Case at Target
I plan on picking up the Iron Pack tomorrow at Target, then next week when Bestbuy is down to the 19.99 price Iam going to see if i can get a price match.
Other stores have been known to price match there steelbook exclusives with other retailers non steelbook prices. I am just going to make sure iam at the store right at open to be safe, since my local target never has the blurays totally stocked in the security cases, to help ensure i find one that isnt all dinged up and dented to death. |
Re: Iron Man 2 Blu Ray steel Case at Target
^target doesn't price match.

I don't know when the last time was that you were in a Target, but they brought price matching back awhile ago now....I do it almost every week (since Best Buy's prices are usually cheaper, and I'd prefer to have Target's 90 day return period in case of better sales for the next three months).... |
Re: Iron Man 2 Blu Ray steel Case at Target
That's great then I should b able to match the 21.99 price on the steel case.
|
Re: Iron Man 2 Blu Ray steel Case at Target
I'd bet that would be very YMMV. I can't see them pricematching something when they are selling and EXCLUSIVE product.

Not sure where you learned how to do math but I'm pretty sure it would be closer to 17.2 copies a store. There are 1,743 Target stores in the US.

Re: Iron Man 2 Blu Ray steel Case at Target
If Plan A doesn't work (pm BB for $21.99), go to Plan B to print Gift Receipt (Vending Machine) and continue Plan A. If Plan B doesn't work, go to Plan C to pm BB for $19.99 (come back next Sunday). Plain & Simple. :D

Re: Iron Man 2 Blu Ray steel Case at Target
So is the 3-Disc Edition BD + BD Extra + DVD/Digital Copy? Is Target the only one with the extra disc of BD bonus features?
And they made a 1 disc version without the bonus disc of features? |
