Ugh, I really wanted to pick up Splice, but it's damn expensive, I guess I'll wait. Nice to see IM2 deluxe edition will be cheaper. I'll probably end up getting The Human Centipede and IM2. lready have Daybreakers. May pick up the DVD editions of Zack and Miri, Hancock, and Observe and Report, just because they're so cheap.

I'd like the Toy Story 3 ironpack but I have TS 1 & 2 in regular blu ray cases & it would drive me nuts to have non matching cases. I am going to pick up a B&TB ironpack tomorrow (my BB has 2 left).

You will still get the regular release and the ironpack to boot.

Exactly, the TS3 2 disc is the closest thing I have to the first 2 covers so I'm getting that but I'll see what looks better on the shelf, if not the steelbook you can always sell it for a good price.

You can always sell off your TS 1 and 2 and rebuy them when the ironpacks for those are availble in bestbuy around the holiday season.
Atleast thats the rumor right now that titles like ts 1 and 2, Princess and the frog Alice in Wonderland etc will be availble iin Ironpack cases like the steelbook releases that bestbuy and future shop had last year.

Pretty sure that is a misprint. The Nightmare on Elm Street remake should be pictured there instead.

I was thinking the exact same thing but since I'm probably going to end up buying it at BB anyways might as well get the case for fun. You do get the regular case and can just hold on to the steelbook...for fun I guess lol

I wonder if they had intended to put the 1 disc in the ad.
Ok had a question regarding these two post. I'm thinking outside the box here but what if BB did intend for it to be the 1-disc version? What are the chances that they can correct the mistake and come Sunday it is the 1-disc on the ad?
If there is a slight chance of that, it might be better to be safe and buy it now and get the adjustment on Sunday?

All this talk about Iron Man 2 and nobody is discussing the release of David Archuletta's new CD next week! Unbelievable!!!

Even if it is a misprint (possible), there's no way BB would have time to reprint and redistribute their ad at this point. Worst case, take the BB ad to Target/Wal-Mart and have them price match.

It won't be hard to get the 3-disc Blu IM2 for $19.99 starting Sunday.

I had thought about this as well for $19.99, but with so many movies to catch up I'm not in a hurry for it at this point. I think (like some others) that IM2 could easily be a Black Friday teaser...I hope.

Re: Best Buy Media Prices (October 3 - October 9, 2010)

Noticed that they had both versions of Daybreakers for $12.99.

One version has one disc with the movie/special features.

The other version is a 2 disk, one disc with the movie/special features and the 2nd disk is the digital copy. Just thought I'd mention it for those who want the digital copy...

Just curious what happens to the Beauty and the Beast ironpacks that are left? Are they just $7.50 outright now or will they let you take one with the pre-order ( I highly doubt that). I'm just not sure how these have worked in the past.

Re: Best Buy Media Prices (October 3 - October 9, 2010)

From what 3 separate Best Buys told me, they throw away the unsold Steelbooks/Ironpacks. I tried tracking down a couple of extra Up Steelbooks a few weeks after it's release and went to three stores in various locations. Each one told me that any unsold cases were dumped in the trash the Sunday before release date. Don't know if that's true or not. Sad if it is.
