LOTR Trilogy $22.99 plus shipping at Family Video

I'm surprised that this hasn't made it to this forum yet. FV has the LOTR Trilogy for $22.99 plus shipping(I'm unaware of any free shipping codes). It's currently OOS, but you can still place an order. I would imagine that this is a pricing error. However, FV has fulfilled pricing error orders in the past.

Nice...I was going to wait for the extended editions, but if they honor this price, I'm all over it. I placed my order...we'll see.

Ordered one this morning when I saw the deal reported elsewhere...figured it was a pricing error but would give it a shot since under $8 apiece was my price threshold on this one...hopefully it will be honored, as I'd rather have the shelf space of one BD case for the theatrical versions than the three DVD cases it currently takes up!

For those of you still waiting on the "In-Fulfillment" Status... PLEASE call their customer service (which apparently, is excellent) and ask what's going on.

I called a while ago - they upgraded the order to the blu ray with digital copies and upgraded my shipping to second day and sent it right out without so much as a question. I didn't even suggest it. Apparently other people have had the same luck, while I've heard some having to request it.

Good luck!

That thing is not a steelbook. I was so disappointed. It was plastic with glued on metalic paper. It was less attractive than the cardboard slipcover the set was released with.

If it says steelbook on the inside its a steelbook no matter what the spine may look like.
