Re: Fry's $9.99 & Up Specials (8/27 - 9/2)
I like Fry's but, like many other stores, they seem to keep having the same movies on sale every week or every other week. Except for some of the newer releases, most of these have been floating around as $9.99 movies or lower for the past few months.
It would be nice to see them give a different/newer selection of movies rather than listing the same ones all of the time.

I can only hope that around Thanksgiving, maybe there will finally be a few new things on sale. I remember the "good old days" when Fry's used to sell a few Xbox 360 or PS3 games for $9.99 (so I could PM at Walmart or Best Buy) or have motherboard/CPU combo deals for under $40. No more. An employee even told me they're not going to do combo deals any more. Today the only Xbox 360 game is $14.91 for Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway which was on sale for $9.99 at Best Buy in August 09 and $9.98 on clearance at many Targets a while ago... they are rather late to the party.
I only go to Fry's once per month max, and usually it's once every 3 months. Sucky ads = less sales. But it's still good that someone posts the BDs out of the ads. Maybe somebody wants to buy them.

Re: Fry's $9.99 & Up Specials (8/27 - 9/2)
Fry's does seem to have many of the Sony / Columbia titles as well as the 20th Century Fox titles on sale on a fairly regular basis. Occasionally you'll see a sprinkling of Universal titles. The true gems are when Disney and their related studios (Miramax, Touchstone, Hollywood Pictures, Anchor Bay, etc...) offer up Blu-Ray titles @ discounted price (Yes, I'm aware Disney sold Miramax recently, but they still have a catalog of titles of already produced discs to clear out).
Well, that's my two cents.
Regardless, nothing on this list strikes my fancy. Best Buy had The Crazies for $12.99 last month so I'll wait for it to drop to a similar price before jumping.
