Those interested in the Batman Films check out the wbshop they have them for $5 and change if you are a insider. They are $7.50 otherwise.

You might be surprised at how little you would need to retire if you can adapt to a thrifty lifestyle and keep expectations in check. I retired at age 45 so I could be young enough to enjoy it. Since then I've done massive amounts of volunteer work to keep productive and engaged (but still have time to visit DVD Talk to keep up with my home theater hobby).

And awesome job on being retired already Lizard! I'm a poor planner and will be working to at least 70, and hopefully still appreciating your awesome posts.

Unless I missed it I don't believe I've seen this one mentioned.

Salvage $6.99
The Quick and the Dead $9.99
Most of the price drops today are a reprise of titles listed in recent days, such as Bruce Almighty, The Salem Witch Trials, Amusement, Basic Instinct, and The Monster Squad. The prices aren't any lower. I'll be interested to see if there are any notable deals next week, beyond the already posted lightning deals.

FYI, Quicken (Main Programmer), Website, internet, and Ricoh SRND (I wrote the software that sends pictures from your cell phone (RDC-i700 was the grandfather).
I started working when I was 12 in 1976 (food), I watched my family work their life away. I said I would retired before I was 30. Why everyone was dating and doing things. I was working and going to school (I have 8 Degrees). I started selling comics at age 13. Working in the field at a young age I used to be a cleaner (Think listening or bugs).
I run my places and my top place I only open on Fri and Sat.
It can be done, if you work at it. I can tell you from my side. People that are older then I am are always pissoff at me. They are still working and I am not. I really do not tell many people, I am still a PI so I just tell them this is what I do (I do, we hunt only woman that own child support to fathers only, for free).
I just did not wish to be in my 60s and then have fun. Where is the fun in that. If I want I just go and fly somewhere, as long as my daughter does not have school. I do not over spend on anything. I am a cheap SOB. Hell I open a pizza place so I did not have to pay full price for pizza (there is more to it but, I did work at a Domino's so I could buy one)

Yeah, this is always a tricky time of year. Any other time and I would jump on these, but Amazon will more than likely be lowering at least two of those titles. I guess I'll hold off.

Man, I am hoping for good prices on Iron Man 2 and Scott Pilgrim! Though Get Him to the Greek and MacGruber down to 7.99 or lower would be instant buys for me.

I haven't been buying any of the ultimate editions of the Harry Potter movies either, because I assume that there will be some mega box set coming out eventually. In the interim, when I can pick up the individual releases for $10 or less I'll continue to do that.
I saw the HP7 part I movie yesterday and enjoyed it. But my favorite of the movies remains the fifth one (and it was my least favorite of the books).
