Yes, but wouldn't they have been buying them all along? I guess this set is for someone new to Blu-ray Disc who didn't have any of the movies in high def yet and who doesn't want to wait for the complete set, as you say.

Looks like someone flipped the switch prematurely on the price drops; they are back up to high prices.

These seem back in business now...at least until they go back again. I will wait to get them at BB, as I'll have the 30+ day ability to match a lower price, but if you want them from Amazon, go for it!

Diary of a Wimpy Kid - $12.99
She's Out of My League - $12.99
Get Him to the Greek - $14.99
MacGruber - $14.99

The first one perhaps, but it seems unrealistic to expect a BD—of a recent high-profile movie—that's only been out for a few weeks, such as Iron Man 2, to be down to $10.

Well I do remember the first one reaching $16 in December 08, I'm hoping the 2nd one follows the same pattern, but the single disc release might screw things up as that would probably be the one to get a big discount. (if there is one)

$16 wouldn't surprise me for Iron Man 2 but in my penny-pinching world there is a big difference between $16 and $10! While I have no interest in this title there are several other recent releases I'd like to see at <$10. I just consider it unlikely for this holiday season (and would like to be wrong).

Dude Where's My Car $8.99

Other titles that have dropped back to recent lows:

$6.99 Dragonquest

$8.49 The Love Guru

$9.99 Fletch, S.W.A.T., Eyes Wide Shut

How to Train Your Dragon (Two-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo + Dragon Double Pack) $17.99 (new low, matches BB)

People were getting it for $9 from Barnes & Noble earlier this morning. Of course, by the time I found out about it, they were sold out online (and who knows if they may cancel it as a price mistake).
