Yeah, I would rank WT3 among the worst films I have seen (and I liked the first two). I would not recommend a blind buy on it.

Re: Amazon.com Discounts and Deals on Blu-ray Part II

I loved the first Wrong Turn but hated the second one. I plan to rent the third out of curiosity.

I want Evil Dead but I would rather get the 2 disc version since it has a nice documentary on the dvd that I haven't seen and isn't in the BOTD edition. I know if I order it from Amazon, the 1 discer will come knowing my luck.

Loved the first Halloween remake. Despised part 2 remake.

The Mist is at $10.99. I just need it go down by one more dollar. Love that Amazon is day by day matching BB's prices for the horror titles.

They may not lower it further. I checked several of the discs I picked up in-store (as well as one or two others, like Black Christmas), all of which were between $13-16 beforehand on Amazon. They've all lowered in price to $10.99, which is essentially $9.99 + tax and a few cents. That could be the extent of their matching.

Re: Amazon.com Discounts and Deals on Blu-ray Part II

Not to mention Amazon doesn't pricematch everything at Best Buy, and when they do it sometimes takes several days, and as mentioned above they sometimes leave it a dollar higher figuring you'd have to pay almost a dollar's tax at Best Buy. I'm pretty selective what I buy based on being burned by price drops too many times in the past decade, but when I do find something in my "OK to buy" range, I generally don't let $1 make or break my decision. I buy from whichever is most convenient. If I'm already going to Best Buy, I get it there and pay an extra dollar of tax. If I'm not, then Amazon as long I have Prime which I happen to right now (I think all of us do until at least December).

So my advice is if you really want something, pay the extra $1 and get it now because Amazon's prices will go up and down, and you know at some point you'll feel bad seeing it for a lower price. It's just that you never know when.

I actually really enjoyed H2, but I was the only person I watched it with who did. It's still a $10 or less title for me, so I'll hold off for now.

I've been waiting for a deal on 'Night of the Creeps' for Halloween. Has this one ever gone below $10?

I didn't mind the third but I'd say if you didn't like the second one you'll hate the third.

House of the Devil down to $13.99. Almost equal to BB if you have to add tax and shipping there.

Exactly! When Amazon Mom went live, the comments I saw on Slickdeals (and some here) made me think that everyone who uses Amazon has subscribed to Amazon Mom and has free Prime until at least December (Amazon Mom started in early September so add 3 months). I'm just grateful to have Prime through Black Friday week.

Dammit. Quit posting this. I had finally convinced myself to wait for AB future release which would have all those extras and new ones in HD (trust me, you know it's already being planned). I know if I order it now that they have already been depleted and I would still get the one disc version. Crap.

I don't understand all the hate for Wrong Turn 3, it was a pretty good sequel.

I only ordered mine a day and a half ago.... so I doubt they've run out. it's probably worth the gamble. Besides, you could always return it.

As far as DTV sequels go it is decent, but it has some of the worst CGI ever used in a horror movie. Even by DTV standards.

I really wanted to pick this one up for that price but I'm already over the monthly budget for media by a lot, considering what's still to come and the gold box deal of Angel. I usually pick up about 2 titles a month from my wishlist if they drop down to $12.99 or less and I just did that with the Friday the 13th 2 and 3 to go along with 1. Those 3 were the only ones I grew up with, so I really wanted to complete my mini collection.

I hope this is around this price next month as well. I, unlike most, didn't like the end but the rest of the film makes up for it. And I've never seen it in black and white.
