Bastards. Does amazon.com have any kind of guarantee if the price goes down after you ordered it? My order on this just shipped yesterday. I seem to have found conflicting information online so anybody know for sure?

It's a crap shoot if you e-mail them within 24 hours, usually boding a bit better if your order's in the "Shipping Soon" status instead of already being shipped. But, officially, they've stopped their price guarantee system. Worth firing off a message, though.

I've had my eye on this for a while and it just keeps dropping and dropping and dropping. I'm hoping it will drop to a crazy low price over the upcoming holiday season, although $30 is pretty low for four BD movies including one of the greatest action movies of all time.

I'm with PopcornTreeCt on Sunshine... The turn of events about 2/3 of the way through killed it for me. Up until then, I thought it was terrific though...



Sling Blade is down to $16.99 but it looks like a recent price drop... Amazon still lists it at the $39.99 MSRP. Regardless, that's the best price on the net as far as I can tell.

I think Liquid Death meant that Iron Man 2 one disc blu-ray is $17.99. That is 49% off. This is a damn good deal if like me, you don't care about digital copies, and extra useless DVD, and extras.

I've had luck telling them that the price dropped before I received it (leaving out the fact that it had already shipped).

They wouldn't let me get a refund, but they did give me a "promotional credit" for the difference, which I was fine with.

They also let me cancel some items on orders I already placed but hadn't shipped yet (and some items did ship on the orders, so I couldn't do it online) and I see some of the items are now cheaper, so I can replace those orders with the lower price plus the "promotional credit" they gave me. So not so bad, I suppose!

But what I guess is if the item hasn't shipped yet and it goes down in price BEFORE it ships, shouldn't they let me get the lower price? Why go through the hassle of calling them or canceling an order? I know they want to make the most money they can, and I get it if they won't do it after the item shipped then the price goes down, but in the situation with the item I canceled it went down before it shipped. Shouldn't they have just automatically adjusted the price for me?

Iron Man 2's 1 disc version may be at a good price, but I really like extras and I'd hate to lose the 2nd disc of making-of pieces.... I'm going with the 3 disc... (2BDs+1DVD)
