But, can I ask you why I always spend $20 - $25 picking up a title only to see it on sale for peanuts weeks or month later?

I am in for one. The UPC does match the remastered one. Also, hasn't the old one been pulled by the studio?

I think stock of the old ones was allowed to stay in circulation until they run out.

That said, yes, the UPC listed is the remastered one.

Also, the MSRP is listed as $39.95, which matches the MSRP for the Remastered edition (original's MSRP is $34.95).

I would be concerned about ordering this because the cover art is the same as the old version. Hopefully, it's the remastered one, but I'd be hesitant.

When someone receives their order, I would appreciate it if they could confirm that it is the remastered edition.

My order has shipped , but for some reason it takes 14 days to receive anything from DD down here in FL.

I forgot about the new cover layout. I was thinking about the Private Ryan and Gladiator covers - different colored upc codes, etc.

I don't know what's slower DD's shipping or their restocking of backordered stuff

I think the fact that the new version is on sale at Best Buy for $12.99 this week is a good sign that DD will be shipping that one. Also, if they're out of stock, they're likely going to have a hard time acquiring the old version from the studio.
