Anime titles are especially good to order because for some strange reason, the website has the list price lower than what it truly is(in some cases, 20% less).

I think I made a good buy here:

Red Riding Trilogy - $19.XX after coupon
The Bird with the Crystal Plumage - $7.XX after coupon

Pretty solid. The second title is on backorder so hopefully they can actually fulfill it, but I'm in no rush as I will have to wait until the release of the Red Riding Trilogy to get both anyways.

Men in tights is only 15 at walmart so if you can cancel this then it's a huge price difference than that.

Oh wait nevermind, durrrr I was looking at the before price. Carry on then lol

Heck yea. I snagged Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Part 2 for $26.39. Amazon had Part 1 on a lightning round last week for $20. So after taxes, I'm netting out at around $24 per set.

Thanks OP.

Re: Borders.com blu-ray deals

I hadn't been to my local Borders store for so long I can't remember. I hardly ever go because their prices are too expensive, even with coupons, and when I want a book I usually order from Amazon. The last time I was there they had a whole corner of the store for DVDs and BDs with several rows. I think I heard that they were redoing or thinning down their movies section, but if I did I must've temporarily forgotten or I didn't realize that thinning it down meant reducing the grand total to about 10 BDs and 30 DVDs at best. So I walked in there with the 40% off coupon and had to wait in line (because no floor employees were available) to ask where the movies were. The guy pointed me to 2 small tower displays and said that's it. I walked over, laughed at the titles and prices, and threw the coupon in the trash. Later I checked online where obviously there is a better selection and still couldn't find anything I'd want for 40% off list price. Well, now I know not to bother going to a Borders store for movies ever again. At least I was already passing right by the store and only wasted about 5 minutes.

I assume that "5 minutes wasted" did not include your threadcrap (although it probably should). B.

Borders is advertising another "Buy $50 in giftcards, get an extra $10 giftcard". The free $10 giftcard I got last time had some restrictions, but it's still free money. And you can use the $50 in giftcards that you buy to order on-line during their current 40% off sale.

I ordered that last week from a local store I have credit with. Can't wait to get it. Do you know if there are any differences in extras between the dvd and blu-ray?
