Remember that the store availability goes to "unavailable" when it goes below 3 copies, iirc.

I don't think I've seen it at my local stores for quite awhile though. May check the ones I drive by everyday though.

I will say that when I ask an employee about something in stock, 80 percent of the time they check the website instead of their inventory system. I assume they do that over the phone as well.

No luck in store. Had an employee check their inventory as well, and none of the stores have any in my area. He did say that the sale for this has been going on since last week though...

I had no reason to go out today. If I go out tomorrow I will run in the one thats closest to me. The other one is just too far to drive just to see, plus I really hate that one also.

So this is a weird one. Stopped by the store and the girl said they packed up all of their copies and sent them back to their warehouse last Wednesday. But checked their computers that they have two on order. So why would they send them back if they now have them on order?

And they couldn’t issue a rain check since it wasn’t in the weekly ad.

From what I can tell, the kiosks use the website so you can look up stuff, but right at the top, it shows the store inventory.

Apparently this version is now Out of Print as well. Odd they would pack them up and ship them back though.

Actually, I was always suspicious they did this considering their stock level and the fact that I never see an OOP in store (even a worthless one).

That happens quite frequently at Retail Stores (at least ones that sell DVD's/CD's).

Either excessive quantities are sent back or Studios give stores a list of various amounts of item X to pack up and send back for reimbursement.
