Rome: The Complete Series -- ~£33 (~$48) shipped @ Amazon UK
Posted this in the Amazon UK deals thread, but felt the deal probably deserved its own thread.
Damn. How does $47.50 shipped sound for Rome Seasons One and Two?

Thanks for sharing. This is region free but does have different packaging from the US version. Comes up 29.76 after removing the VAT but then adds 3.08 for shipment making it 32.84....which converts today to $48.32....or $49.77 after my credit card adds a 3% foreign transaction fee.
Hmmm......may hold off for now because my shelf is already full at the moment.

Can anyone say what's inside the box? Is it a Digi-like case or just two Blu-ray cases?

However, there are still 60i and 50i framerates possible, and many US players cannot play something encoded at 50i, whether it's PAL-esque 576/50i, or 1080/50i .
For Rome, I believe it was shot at 24 frames per second, so the Blu-ray should be 24p.
You can use this site to find info on which UK discs are region-free, as well as whether their 50i or not.

Also, here's a link to 50i compatible US players, from the Amazon.UK bargain thread:
