DD has some pretty fast shipping. I ordered Life and The Hangover on Thursday, they were shipped on Friday, and I got the discs yesterday.
Pretty fast turnaround. I usually buy from Amazon using their free shipping, which can take awhile, so this was a nice change.

It's been awhile since I ordered from Deep Discounts big sale and that was before I started collecting Blu-Rays. I see free shipping listed but I forgot if they charge sales tax to California or not. And are these the same region Blu-rays if I had ordered from Amazon? I'm asking because about a half dozen titles on my wishlist are so much cheaper. Any help with my questions above would be appreciated - THANKS !

I just watched my copy from DD last night and didn't notice any problems whatsoever. I assume that they do indeed have the corrected version now.

Ordered Happy Together, Fallen Angels, and Forrest Gump BD on 6/4. Still nothing has shipped. Happy Together was even a pre-order when I ordered so it's really strange why it hasn't shipped yet.

the deals aren't really crazy good anymore with this sale, and I don't even get the satisfaction anymore of "applying" the coupon to watch the price drop, but here is the order I just placed. Life and Ouran have awful prices at Amazon ($59.99 and $56.49 resp) so I felt the sale prices were good enough to lock in my order with DDD.

I think its us consumers being spoiled when Amazon and the like PM retailers when they have certain titles on sale. The prices may have been lower than DD sales.

No, this sale used to be much better. Ever since their redistrict, I haven't found one bargain too good to pass up.
