This doesn't really have anything to do with this deal, but I noticed that Tombstone is one of the items that gives you the offer for the free trial of Prime for one month. It doesn't look to work on an account that has had a free trial before though.

As Doc would say, "You're a daisy if you do." The easiest blind buy recommendation I have ever made. Extremely quotable movie and classic gunfight scenes. Don't blink on this one Huckleberry :)

FYI - Tombstone is not the director's cut like the DVD Vista version was. Also, it's missing a lot of special features from the DVD Vista version.

Armageddon doesn't have any special features that were on the Criterion DVD version, but I guess that's to be expected.

And, according to reviews, the video quality isn't much of an improvement. I'm going to stick with my Vista Series but if you don't already own it I'd recommend the BD at this price.

I would jump on this if I didn't hate Armageddon. I asked a friend if he wanted to go in on the deal so he can have Armageddon and I'll take Tombstone, which I've never owned on any format.
