Alice in Wonderland - Where to Buy It?

Sorry if this has been brought up before. I'm asking about where the best place to buy the new Alice in Wonderland will be. Will there be another sales opportunity like with Toy Story 1/2 earlier this year at TRU. I know they are doing a presale, but I was only able to get a glimpse at it when I was last there. It seems you put $10 and then get $10 off another Disney title priced $29.99 or higher... is that correct? And also, there is going to be a $10 off coupon is that correct?

TM,

Don't you know that we have a weekly thread examing each new release with all the various store prices and coupons?

I also know that there was a thread specifically discussing Toy Story where I got all my info and I thought I'd start one for this for all the info.

I appreciate it, I just wanted to know if buying it at TRU was going to be another great deal like with TS

Strong possibility. Once the ads come out and the $10 coupon goes active I'm sure at least a couple threads will have all the info.

Did you see it? I'm going to buy it, but only because I'm a Disney completest and it should be fairly cheap.

It was really good, best movie I've seen so far this year. A lot of my friends are saying Iron Man 2 is so great, but I thought it was okay at best. But Alice in Wonderland was really great. Looking forward to seeing it on BD.

TRU's ad came out on their website. They're boasting $26.99, but only $16.99 if you use the coupon.

Same as Best Buy. Oh, well, just grab it at BB then.

Only advantage at TRU is $10 off another Disney BD if you pre-order.

Right, but even that isn't that great a deal when everything is MSRP, unless you can find a title that you want where the math works out. Only Disney BD I would be interested in picking up right now is Monsters Inc. But why would I pick it up for 34.99-10+tax when I can get it for 21.99 total from Amazon?

Yeah I know, but there's nothing I was currently. When Toy Story came out it worked out great because I got Bolt which I had been holding out getting, but there's nothing anymore that I want so I guess it's not worth it.

One good way to use the TRU deal is if you can use a $8 Disney Upgrade coupon. I was planning on doing that with Ratatouille, but the stupid coupon printer didn't work for me.

Fry's has the Alice combo pack advertised for $24.99 in today's Sacramento Bee (p. D8 on top). Sorry I don't have a scanner so I can't scan and post the ad.

Lol thanks for the info thats been posted about 4 times now. Note that the midnight opening is only at a select few locations. You can only get the $5 off if a store near you is opening at midnight. Go to Bestbuy.com/alice to see the store list.

If you happen to need batteries, if you buy either 2 12 packs of AAA or AA batteries, 2 6 packs of D or C batteries, or 2 3pack 9v Batteries from meijer you save 10 off the 27 dollar price brining it to 17 and then it mentions the coupon for 10 off, so you get it for 7.99. Not bad if need batteries anyways.

Great timing on all of my Rock band instruments and my Harmony dying on me lol.

I was considering that. I didn't think Alice in Wonderland was that great of a movie. It was OK, but I'm debating on if I would even watch it, again. Having a child with tons of toys that take batteries, I could always use them. Plus Meijer just opened a new store in my town and offering a $5 off $30 coupon for all purchases (you can even keep the coupon to continue using). It would be nice if I could somehow use the $5 off before they take the $10 off, but I doubt that will work. I can probably find something for a couple of bucks to throw in, though.

I'm wondering if Best Buy will take the coupon for their exclusive version? They gave me a hard time using the coupon for Up (told me it was for a 1 disc Blu-ray, not a combo pack).

Just try it, it will be the same price as the regular combo pack all week. Just point out to them that it's the combo pack and they are the same price.

Best Buy will probably claim they cannot combine the coupon with their $5 "promotion" (for those who actually have the midnight sales near them) even though they should take it since it's a manufacturer's coupon.
