Some 4.88 Blu-rays at Sams club
I haven't seen this posted here yet so I thought it would for people who don't visit br.com
There are quite a few blu-rays at Sams that are 4.88. The list that I can see is
Mission Impossible
Mission Impossible 2
Mission Impossible 3
Tomb Raider
Patriot Games
Clear and Present Danger
Days of Thunder
Failure to Launch
Disturbia
Face Off
Next
Aeon Flux
I can attest to MI 1, Mi 2, and Tomb raider. Picked up all 3 today for about 16 bucks out the door. They are even marked this price

I got the last copies of Patriot Games & Clear and Present Danger today at mine. I'd buy the others if I saw them for that price. Thanks OP, I'll be checking a few others.

Just got back. Unfortunately, mine had a bunch of $9.88 titles, including these. Perhaps they mismarked them at yours because I did find the same Dvd's for $4.88. I know it's only an extra five bucks each, but I couldn't bear myself to buy them at that price. Thanks anyway for the heads up.

Unfortunate for me, I didn't see any of those titles at any price. Now if all their 9.88 will ring up at 4.88... that would be great...

For someone who hasn't yet made the switch to BD, I'm glad to see prices begin to see these levels. It will make the transition all the more easier to bear when that time comes.

Only saw the Days of Thunder and Failure to Launch titles of all of these at a local Sam's Club, was looking for M:I and Tomb Raider. Prices were 4.88.

Re: Some 4.88 Blu-rays at Sams club
I saw several of these BDs marked at $6.88 at my Sam's Club a couple weeks ago. When I saw this thread this weekend, I called them to ask if any were marked at $4.88, and I named off several of them. The guy came back and said he not only didn't see any of those BDs, but the cheapest BDs were marked $8 or $9 something.
I suppose he could be wrong and some of these titles could be there and ring up $4.88, but chances are slim. Maybe I'll check later this week, but I think he's probably right because maybe a month or two ago they reduced their rather large DVD/BD/CD section (2 sides of 1 aisle that took up about 1/4th of the store's width) with 2 tiny shelves (both sides) each maybe 12' long. So I'd say they reduced their inventory by 75% and they put these right when you walk in. They used to have lots of $4.88 DVDs and now they have none. Their BD section has almost nothing now. Games take up 1 side, CDs another part, leaving 2 sides for DVDs and BDs. So, my Sam's Club now makes my pathetic Walmart with its microscopic movie selection look like movie heaven. Then after taking their electronics section down to almost nothing, Walmart told me they are going to reverse course and more than double it in size in a few months. I'll believe it when I see it.

There is a reason you never call on these. He quite possibly bought them himself when you let him in on the deal. It happens all the time, I would do it if someone called me and let me in on it.

Re: Some 4.88 Blu-rays at Sams club
Ok, so I've been hearing that Sin City was 12.99 at Costco as well as Sams. Well I only have a Sams membership. I went in and didn't see it, and the only 4.99 blu's were Mission Impossible 1, and 2. Well I nicely asked a manager if I could look in the blu cage where they keep them as their inventory system is in a word "Shit" Went in there looking for Sin City only. In the case I found at least 10 copies each of Days of Thunder, Clear and Present Danger, Patriot Games, Disturbia, and one copy of Failure to Launch. Since I couldn't buy all 5 right then I just got the 1 copy of Failure to Launch and Disturbia. Going to get the rest tomorrow. They were also marked at 9.88 but they rang up at 4.88.
Point is, if you don't see any, nicely ask a manager to let you look through the blu case, you may find some of these titles they never put out.

Re: Some 4.88 Blu-rays at Sams club
My wife picked up Mission: Impossible, Clear and Present Danger, The Sum of All Fears, Failure to Launch for $4.88, and No Reservations for $8.88 at Sam's Club in Greensburg PA the other day. They had some of the others mentioned above too.
