No. The titles are already discounted 20%. REWARD25 will discount is 25% instead of 20%. So it only gives you an extra 5% off of the regular price. So the $7.96 titles (which are normally $9.95) become $7.46. I think $36.71 is already the 25% off discounted price. It is $39.xx before the discount code.

I finally tried this and after wasting time with various combinations, including adding the Dirty Harry set + 3 $7.96 titles to see if a subtotal over $55 (after 25% discount) would allow the 2nd $5 off coupon to work, but it still only let me apply 1 $5 off coupons. Welcome09 wouldn't work no matter what. Not being able to use that 2nd $5 off coupon was the deal breaker for me because I'm getting $46.61 (before tax) for the Dirty Harry set + 2 BDs I only marginally want and couldn't justify more than $5 each for... so in my mind it's $46.61 - $5 x 2 = $36.61 for the Dirty Harry set which exceeds my $30 limit. So I guess nothing for me this time unless the secret to using the 2nd $5 off coupon is revealed here. Now if there had been a better selection of $7.96 BDs instead of mostly barebones BD25s that I'd only pay $5 for, that could've made the difference too.

The only thing I can think of is that you used that coupon already in the past. They might limit it to once per account... You can easily create a new account, with all of the same information. Only the email must be different...

Thanks for the help, kenbenobi. That could be the reason. Too bad it doesn't say "coupon already used" rather than the more vague message it gave. I checked my notes and I've only ever ordered from WBshop one time... back in April 2009. I don't have any notes which coupon(s) I used then, but I suppose if "welcome09" was available in April 2009 and mentioned on DVD Talk, I probably used it. So I'll wait for the next time (with new coupons I hope) to get Dirty Harry.

The $5 off $25 didn't work for me :(. I tried and tried but to no avail.

Hopefully they ship the 3 bds & the dvd long before the preorder, but since I have the majority of the blu-ray already on dvd, waiting wouldn't kill me.

BTW, if you are having trouble getting over the $40 hump, there are a bunch of dvds at $3.99 which come to $3.71 with the coupon I used above. There is even a Chuck Norris Triple Feature at that price :o

I think this may be correct. I was going to order last evening, code worked fine... got distracted, few hours later WELCOME09 was no longer working. I even tried a fresh account.

I agree. I tried it without being logged into any account, and it is indeed dead. Perhaps they will have WELCOME10 as a code soon. :D
Welcome09 was around for a long time. I think it overstayed its welcome. ;)

FYI for anyone who ordered a "free" title from the Buy 5 Get 1 Free program. They always email a $5 off $25 coupon once you redeem the freebie code. The subject of the email is "Thanks for your recent purchase, save $5 on your next order!" It typically comes a few days after your order ships. It's a one-time use code, supposedly valid for only 7 days, but my code is still active from my March 28 email. This code could be used in lieu of welcome09 (it couldn't be combined with it, anyway)

BTW, I got all of my titles except my preorder today, so 4 whole days to get 80% of my order. I'd say that's a pretty awesome thing. Thanks again for the offer.

Unfortunately, all codes appear dead. All I have left now is a personalized code they sent me yesterday for my recent order which next $5 off $25 but is only good for 7 days.........

I used my personal code a month after it said it expired. The expiration date doesnt appear to be enforced.

I received my 7 Blu Ray Discs and I have watched 4 of them and so far 2 of the cases were damaged, they don't snap on one end of the case.
I think they were damaged because of the way they packaged these, they just threw all 7 in a big bubble mailer.
I think they probably should box them up if there are 4 or more at least that's how second spin and others do it.

I had one that stopped working, from my first freebie order. But my two orders since are both working well beyond the 7 days...
