Maybe Sherlock Holmes in BR, but I am going to pick up Monk for $17.99. Almost bought it when it 1st come out for $35, did not know it would fall so fast. I did think I would have to wait until Christmas time to pick this up - on of my top 5 shows of all time.

Thank you for your support.

And iirc, the USA sets are almost almost down to ~$15-20 within a month.

Scored the last Matrix BluRay Book and Horton Hears a Who BD in Target (Aurora, CO)...AND...had $6 on a gift card...$25 (after tax) for two BDs I didn't think I would get this cheap!

Grr. Bought Monk every summer for like 40 bucks and can't believe the last season is so cheap already. Which reminds me, no Monk this summer.....going to seriously miss that show. I'm already holding out hope for a tv movie.

Since I missed out on the DD sale alongside Fry's not having a single copy on Friday, I finally picked up Blade Runner at Target this morning on BD for $13.99. They still had a few copies left too.

Also found a copy of Whip It in the green packaging, so I picked that up too and plan on giving it to the girlfriend later.

Grabbed a thick-case Blade Runner as well. Can anyone confirm that the UPC is the same from the original thick case to the new slim one?

Picked up Jet Li's Fearless for a sawbuck. I already own the HD DVD, but the extra footage on the Blu-ray supposedly makes it a much more coherent film.

Is the Edward Scissorhands blu worth $10 and giving up my tin? I've heard it's a very disappointing release.

Is Horton Hears a Who a decent blind buy for somebody looking to get a final digital copy code for the buy5/get1 deal from Warner? I was planning on getting Gran Torino, but it's clear the copies out now no longer have the digital copy codes, while the Horton Hears a Who blus were plastered with stickers advertising it. $13.99 is really tempting to pick up an apparently decent family movie and eventually getting L.A. Confidential for my redemption title.

I don't believe it has all the extras either. There could be a double dip, I say wait.

December 7th marks the 20th anniversary of the movie, maybe a double dip this year?

The Horton Hears a Who that is applicable for the WB Buy 5 get 1 free deal is the classic one NOT the new remake with Jim Carrey.

They are. I remember my Best Buy had 1 of each and I compared them.

Cool. I grabbed the thick because I'll just transfer it into a normal BD case and get an extra 5 disc BD case out of the deal. I imagine Amazon will eventually price match the $12.99 price (since it seems like a permanent drop now with DDD, Costoco and Target going so low).

Mad Men Season 3 (std DVD) blown out on the first day of sale around here,

Asked the clerk if he'd sub the Blu version, since both are $39.99 regular and they will often sub something similar for same % off (56% on this), but no go, so just got a raincheck on the standard. Didn't accelerate the request up the ladder, so don't know if mgmt. might ok or not.

Any one have any luck with this strategy?

I went today to try to match the B1G1 50% off deal at TRU. But they told me at customer service they don't match percentage deals just prices. I picked up anyway the following for $13.99 each. The Matrix digibook, Whip It (green case), and 500 Days of Summer.
