Save $10.00 off Toy Story & Toy Story 2 Blu-rays when you upgrade from DVD or VHS!

Wow! Upgrade your DVD or VHS and get a $10.00 off coupon for each title on Blu-ray! Yes, I said even VHS!
http://disney.eprize.net/moviereward.../toystory1and2
That would make these $5.00 each at Target!
You have to be a Disney Movie Rewards member. I'm sure most of us already are but if you are no it's free to sign up.

Alright, what the heck do you have to do from the page that this is on? I already logged in like it says to but from there I cannot find a link to enter the UPC code. This is a joke if it works as it is even better that the upgrade to Blu coupon and that you have to jumps thorugh hoops compared to this, and it's not like you even have to own the dvd as you can get the UPC anywhere online.

Or is it just not live yet?

Enter the UPC in to the same place you enter your DMR codes normally. Just like the directions say. However it looks like the codes are not live yet. The DMR site is always a little behind.

It looks like the code should be entered on the left side like all codes entered on the Disney Movie Rewards site. Whenever I enter the upc from my Ultimate Toy Box set I get a "code is not active" message. Give it a few days. If it can be combined with the other coupon...AWESOME! If not, it is still roughly $5 per blu ray at Target.

Thanks, dkedvd. I like the instant coupons that doesn't require sending in the POP tabs and waiting 2 months.

Yea like I said, the DMR site is always a little behind on their own offers. It will probably be up and running by the end of the day.

Ya, the message says the code "is not active yet" so that is a good sign, because at least we know the UPC number is in the system.

This deal is gonna make the already ridiculous Toy Story 1/2 deals even sweeter. Too bad I wasted ink on the $5 coupons already, since I surely won't be using those...

Its $22.99 at Target now, not $19.99 as originally thought. Still a better deal than the $5 coupons though.

Thx guys for the clarification, but my main concern is that like the Upgrade to Blu program the Toy Story 2 Pack and Ultimate Toy Box might not work but we'll have to wait and see I guess as I got the same message you guys did when I entered the 2 PAck UPC just now.

The ad is posted and shows each to be $22.99.

So what store is going to allow all these coupons.
Target surely won't unless you have a cashier who doesn't know any better.
Will Toys R Us allow for so many cooupons?

Re: Save $10.00 off Toy Story & Toy Story 2 Blu-rays when you upgrade from DVD or VHS

+$5.00: Toy Story pre-order deposit
+$5.00: Toy Story 2 pre-order deposit
+$26.99: Princess & Frog BD combo pack
-$15.00: discount for pre-ordering both TS titles
-$10.00: Princess & Frog printable coupon
-$5.00 : PatF printed coupon
________
$6.99 (plus sales tax): final paid this week

Next Tuesday, 3/23:
+16.99: Toy Story (lowered price for buying both)
+16.99: Toy Story 2 (lowered price for buying both)
-$5.00: TS pre-order deposit already paid last week
-$5.00: TS2 pre-order deposit already paid last week
-$5.00: TS printable coupon
-$5.00: TS2 printable coupon
-$8.00: TS1 disney upgrade
-$8.00: TS2 Disney upgrade
________
-$2.02

(plus sales tax): final amount paid next week

This is what it would look like at toys r us if all the coupons would work.

Now with these 2 new $10 coupons this seems impossible to include them also.
the final bottom total would be -$22.02.

Yea, this looks like $10 off one title or the other. Using the two $5 off coupons would be just as effective.

I don't see retailers allowing the stacking of multiple manufacturers' coupons.

No, I think Toy Story and Toy Story 2 will have separate $10 couponss. I'll be shocked if they don't. Of course, we won't know until the UPC's go live...

I was able to stack multiple manufacturer's coupons at Target for the Monsters, Inc./Up combo. The workaround was to add an additional item(I bought a $1 Gatorade) to the two Blu-rays. The computer accepted all coupons without the need of a manual override. Hopefully it will be the same way this Tuesday.

Well lets say you can only use one. Here is what you do. Make two purchases. Buy both movies at Target with the $10.00 coupon + the $10.00 IR twice. Then just return TS1 from one receipt and TS2 from the other receipt and you'll get the full discount. Right? I think I did my math correctly.

I wonder if they fixed the system to decline that by now.

Yea, I did that too come to think of it. IIRC, there was some combination of manufacturers' coupons, Target coupons, and a peel-off coupon. I bought a Hershey bar and walked out with both for 98 cents.

Of course this time, I pre-ordered from TRU, so I don't know if their system will accept multiple coupons.

Paging cnorwood.......

I wonder if this is why they haven't emailed the Toy Story coupons to people who did the Upgrade2Blu thing?

Could someone please list all the current coupons for Toy Story? My head is spinning with all these numbers floating around...

Re: Save $10.00 off Toy Story & Toy Story 2 Blu-rays when you upgrade from DVD or VHS

So nobody has been able to print out these $10 upgrade coupons yet?

And if you could Target will only accept 1 because the $10 one is a manufacturer's coupon just like the $5 one already available to print. This week I tried using both manufacturer's coupons ($10 and $5) for Princess and the Frog with another item at Target and was denied, so I don't think that works.

However, a $10 manufacturer coupon is better than a $5 one, so it seems even if Target won't PM Fry's $19.97 price, they should at least allow the $10 manufacturer's coupon on each and hopefully still give the $10 combo discount. That's a price I could live with.

I would've gone the Toys R Us route except they are so far away from me (as is Fry's) as to make any savings less than $10 not worth it.

I see that Fry's will take $10 off if you buy both blu-rays on the same receipt. $19.97 each.

I was reading the fine print at the bottom of the page. It states that the coupon will be available from 3/23-4/11.
