Wrong. These are all on the single disc BLU. I'm currently looking at the menu with the single disc BLU in the player.

This begs the question of whether or not we'll be able to use both the Disney $5 coupons and the individual up-grade coupons on the "Toy Story" releases next week. Again, great deal with the one coupon, but EXCELLENT deal with the additional coupons.

We'll see when the coupons go LIVE, but it is my understanding that there will be TWO different coupons. One for TS and one for TS2. |

I mean, it's worth a shot. And if it doesn't work, I'll probably use it on the stand-alone DVD. My OCD-ness requires me to have all of the traditionally animated Disney movies on DVD as well, so I might as well pick it up for $11 if I can't apply it to the Blu-ray.
(And before you say it, I can already admit that it would bug me to know that my Combo pack had an empty hub where its DVD disc should be.) |
Re: The Princess & the Frog (DVD, Blu-ray & Combo Pack) $5 off
i don't see how someplace that does not scan in mfg coupons would not accept both...

Re: The Princess & the Frog (DVD, Blu-ray & Combo Pack) $5 off
Was unable to use both from the Target cashier.

Re: The Princess & the Frog (DVD, Blu-ray & Combo Pack) $5 off
Both of mine worked. Even though it is supposedly for the single BD, it still shows a pic of the 3-disc, so it was manually honored. $12

Re: The Princess & the Frog (DVD, Blu-ray & Combo Pack) $5 off
The Target cashier wouldn't even try to scan both. She denied me from minute one.
$16.99 for the three-disc set isn't bad; but people on Blu-ray.com are reporting that if one goes to Guest Services and uses the $5 off coupon as a "missed coupon," they'll be able to get the $5 back. |

See, I disagree with what the people at Blu-ray.com are doing. It's one thing to try the coupon and see if they will accept it; once they deny you though and cite not only their store's policy, but also the rules of the coupon, you should just let it go. That feels extremely dishonest to me.

Honestly, I don't care as I don't think I'll make it back to Target until next Tuesday and that'll be a quick in-out for TS1/TS2. The $5 does not matter to me and it was a gift for the girlfriend. Once all is said and done, I hate Target as much as I hate Wal-Mart. I try to keep interaction with the associates as brief as possible. And at least I didn't use the $5 off coupon after the expiration date. :) |
Re: The Princess & the Frog (DVD, Blu-ray & Combo Pack) $5 off
My cashier was also nice enough to scan both, but it would also only take one off. I'm happy enough paying $9.99 + tax for a blu on release week.

Anybody doing the band aid rebate deal who bought the single Blu-ray. The form only says dvd or bd combo pack. I might try anyway. http://www.bandaid.com/pdf/4275_BABAB-disney_rebate.pdf

Re: The Princess & the Frog (DVD, Blu-ray & Combo Pack) $5 off
Went to Target. They were sold out of the combo pack entirely. They had one remaining copy of Wall-E, so I decided to use my $8.00 off upgrade coupon for that instead. Didn't feel like trying to find out if I could get away with using the $10.00 coupon for the single-disc Princess and the Frog. I did find it interesting that there were no raincheck tickets for the combo pack.
Once we got to the register, the cashier was an older guy who not only gave me no fuss about the printed coupon (like the amateur detectives I've dealt with in the past), but he actually asked how that program worked and expressed interest when I explained it to him. I wished then that I had tried the $10 off the single-disc, but it was all the way in the back of the store and I was entirely too sore to go back for it. |
Re: The Princess & the Frog (DVD, Blu-ray & Combo Pack) $5 off
Got the last single disc at Target. Went to the electronics cashier where the guy said the coupon couldn't be accepted because it's only for the combo. Took the movie to the regular checkout line and it was accepted without a hassle.

Re: The Princess & the Frog (DVD, Blu-ray & Combo Pack) $5 off
i picked up the single disc blu ray and took it to the front with both the $10 and $5 coupon. she scanned the $10 which worked fine and then scanned the $5 which beeped. however, she looked at it and went ahead and input it. so i walked out the door with PATF for about $5.

I was wondering about that rebate thing. Is the rebate good for specific band aid products (Which specific ones?) or for ANY band aid products?
