Hmmm....that price for WTWTA makes me wonder if the $20 Target price listed is wrong. Regardless, since there are no exclusives I will wait for it to drop below $15.

WTWA is 23.99 on bestbuy.com right now. I might order now for in store pick-up (got a $5 reward certificate to burn, as well).

Wow, Target seems to be beating Best Buy weekly now in the lower price game....
Last week, they were $2 cheaper than BB on "Law Abiding Citizen"......this week, they are cheaper than BB by at least a buck or two on almost everything (The Box, The Informant, Vampire's Assistant, etc.)...and now next week WTWTA is a whole $7 cheaper there, and their deluxe version of 2012 is $2 cheaper than BB AND it comes with a whole extra bonus disc....

Not sure if you have an aversion to Walmart, but this has been spotted there at that everyday price for a few weeks now....no need to wait!

I'm so glad I waited on this one... Now I just need to find a deal on S2 (have S1 on HD-DVD and I'm satisfied). Here's hoping Bing CB stays at 8% til the online price drops to 39.99 on Sunday...

Re: Best Buy Ad - February 28th - March 6th; 2010

Was hoping 2012: SE would have been lower than $24.99. I have $10 in RZ certificates to use. I didn't see 2012 in theaters, so this would be a blind buy for $15. Emmerich is a total hack, but he's an "A list" hack. As dumb as it is, I like Day After Tomorrow quite a bit. Is 2012 like that, or is it bad Emmerich like 10,000 BC?

well from the following list:

"Bluray Sale $9.99 ea.
* We Own the Night
* Resident Evil
* XXX"

all are actually sony titles!
and it looked like that list wasn`t complete with all titles,
therefore i was wondering what other titles were
to be expected in the 9.99 category.

I recommend it, probably one of the funnier movies I saw last year In all honesty, if you remotely enjoy Emmerich's flicks (sans 10,000 B.C., of course), you should be able to get a kick out of this one.

2012 is a very good disaster movie, even better than Day After Tomorrow in my opinion. Nothing like 10,000 BC.

Me too.

Selling those steelbooks on ebay really helps offset the price of the Blu-ray.

Re: Best Buy Ad - February 28th - March 6th; 2010

Picked up Clash of the Titans digibook and surpised it rang up $24.99 and not $29.99 like the sticker said. Also had $7.50 free movie cash which doesnt go into effect until 4/9/10, a week after its release. Still going to try to use it and hope the cashier isnt able to read or really care to look at the fine print.

Re: Best Buy Ad - February 28th - March 6th; 2010

This may just have been my bad luck, but the Best Buy I went to today refused to accept the $10 off coupon for Ponyo. The manager tried to tell me that since I printed the coupon myself, that that was a form of "reproduction" and so he couldn't accept it. I explained to him that printing it was the only way to get it, as it was an online coupon that came directly from Disney, and I told him the website so he could verify it himself. But he refused to help me so I told him I would take my business to Target.

(Unfortunately, Target was already out of stock.)
