just a heads up just cause its say unavailble when you do check stores that have it in stock, doesnt mean they are out.
the mel brooks set the other day showed as out of stock in the west hollywood bestbuy, yet when i got there they still had one in stock.(so i bought it) Bestbuy.com will show any item they only have one or two of instock as being unavailble, as to avoid, having a person request instore pick up of an item, have there card charged, only to find that a instore customer picked it up off the shelf and bought before the employee has a chance to take it off the shelf.

Yeah, but I work during the day. I rather would just order it online at seven in the morning than risk trying to get to one on my lunch break or going on a scavenger hunt to the two near my house. It also doesn't help that I haven't been feeling good the past few days and just didn't want to venture out anywhere.

was up to 77.99, now back down to 51.99 (matching DD's price?) -- so it may only last a day or two (DD's sale ends 3/2/10 midnight CST). However there is Bing at DD which saves you a couple of more dollars

My copy arrived...in a bubble mailer. Sigh. Memories of ordering the Clerks II exclusive all over again. Opened it and of course it's seriously beat to shit. Going to call the local Best Buys and see if anyone has it in for an exchange.

Yeah, I was surprised by the bubble mailer. I've ordered less from Amazon and had it come in an actual box.
I should just be thankful that my box wasn't damaged during shipping. Basically what this tells us is to have patience and wait for Amazon to pricematch in the future.

Luckily, Amazon's was still at $51, so I ordered one from them. Once it's here, I'll send back the Best Buy copy for a refund.

The same thing happened to me. It arrived in a bubble mailer, and almost all of the book pages had ripped away from the binding, completely destroyed. I thought something like this might happen but bought it anyway, knowing I could return it to a Best Buy store. (I live within walking distance of a Best Buy anyway.) Placed an order with Amazon for $51 immediately afterwards. Would have bought from Amazon in the first place, but the price was $78 earlier.

My Amazon copy showed up on Saturday. It was in a box, though the box was close to form-fitting. The set was in pretty good shape. Only a minor ding on one of the corners.

I received my set yesterday from Amazon, in a box, in perfect condition. Ordered it when it was still $45.99 (with free shipping)...I'm happy.
