Re: Target Sales Ad >> 2/21/10 - 2/27/10

Those are some good prices.

Who here has seen FAME before? I've never seen it...and wondering if it's worth a blind buy..? Without giving anything away, is it a good movie?
As long as it isn't depressing at all I might be in for a blind buy. thanks

I haven't seen it but the critics panned it to death because it wasn't as dark as the original film so I'm assuming if you like light and happy films, you would probably like the movie.

I never saw the original so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I thought the new one was pretty boring. Not really much of a story and just a bunch of people auditioning and dancing around. I wouldn’t recommend a blind buy on this one.

It was a good movie. Sure not as good as the first (most sequels arn't) but still a decent movie. I would recommend it.

I'll pick up (500) Days of Summer, Jennifer's Body, and District 9 for sure. On the fence about Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen whether I should get it from Target or get the Wal-Mart Big Screen edition.

Think I'll blind buy 500 Days of Summer...I've been on a diet and haven't bought a BD this year, this seems like a good bet.

Re: Target Sales Ad >> 2/21/10 - 2/27/10

The good news is that I paid $17.99 for my (500) Days of Summer BD 29 days ago at Best Buy! I'm going down there later today to get $5.00 + tax credited to my credit card.

Picked up copies of 500 Days Of Summer and Jennifer's Body this morning around 8am.

Wanted to get there really early mostly because I don't like shopping on Sundays (at least later in the day)

Were there lots of the $12.99 Blu-rays stocked up? Also were there lots of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs Blu-ray? Thinking of heading over later this week, but wondering if it will be sold out by then. Thanks!

For me, there were like 2 Cloudy's and zero 500 Days of Summer and about 4 Jennifer's. However, you can ask the electronics people because I asked them about 500 and he said they had some in the back.

Being the big Star Wars & Family Guy fan that I am, I just could not bring myself to spend $12.99 on Something..... Dark Side. Even PM'ing it at Best Buy with the slipcover.

Blind bought 500 Days of Summer. They had plenty of the sale titles at the store I bought mine from.

I probably won't make it to Target until later in the week.

Presumably I can get rainchecks for the $12.99 titles that are out of stock?

I'm concerned now as I blind-purchased Night at the Museum 2, but no one else here is interested in buying it...

Thought it was a cute movie. My girlfriend and I both liked it.

Also, has anyone had luck finding the Transformers 2 Blu-Ray with BUMBLEBEE Case and if so is it coming up the sale price?

Thanks.

Re: Target Sales Ad >> 2/21/10 - 2/27/10

I picked up 500 Days of Summer as a blind buy but have yet to watch it. The case info said a digital copy was included. Upon opening it, the digital copy was just thrown in there flat with a paper with some artwork/info in between it and the Bluray copy. There is no spindle on the left side of the case so no scratches and it didn't even have a paper sleeve. Never saw an extra disc packaged (or lack of) this way.
