Wolfman Tickets on Universal Blus

I have been meaning to buy American Werewolf in London for some time, and I kept balking at Fry's $24.99 price. I got paid yesterday and went out there, and I was thrilled to discover that not only had they dropped it to $19.99, but there was a sticker code to print out a $10 ticket to see The Wolfman.

There was also a sticker like this on King Kong. I don't know what other Universal Blu-Rays will have it.

  • The Incredible Hulk
  • King Kong
  • The Mummy
  • The Mummy Returns
  • The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
  • Van Helsing

Last week i ordered King Kong (w/ store p/up) for $19.59 after 33% coupon.

I wonder if that offer is included if you get American Werewolf in London BD via Amazon - it's just 15.99. I guess there's really no way to know...

i was thinking about getting KK at amazon as well (~$17.50), but there was no mention of any movie cash. No mention of movie cash on their "DVD & Blu-ray Deals" section either on Wolfman or Valentines Day.

I know this is the BD thread area, but I do want to add that these are also on some non-BD's. At WM, I saw a TV series called She Wolf I think, the Universal Wolfman movie collection, plus a DVD of the original (I think) Wolfman movie, all with $10 Movie Cash...

I haven't seen the BD's yet, but I'm going to keep my eye out. There are also lots of $11.99 DVD's with $10 concession cash now (at Best Buy), so you could get your movie, soda, and popcorn all paid for! That's what I plan on doing...

Re: Wolfman Tickets on Universal Blus

definately get the free ticket if you can, unfortunately the movie, is not so good.
Saw it last night at the Arclight cinemas in Hollywood.
It pains me to say that its not good, cause Joe Johnston is my favorite movie director.
check it out if you are able to get the movie cash on the bluray just be prepared for a major let down. It sucks that with such a talented director and great cast that this movie ended up not being good. It tries hard to pay homage to the original wolfman and other classic universal monsters but is plagued by a bad script and obvious studio interference(as in its really obvious executives kept sticking there noses in, hampering Johnstons directing of the film.)

again pains me to say cause Joe Johnston is my favorite movie director, and it was so awesome getting to meet him last night but the movie is bad.

For what it's worth, the copy I purchased from B & N a couple of weeks ago had no ticket.

The ticket was not included a couple of weeks ago. Universal started included them on new copies released on January 31st, 2010.

Yeah, go figure I just bought Mummy and Mummy Returns last week! I guess they just starting doing that because there was nothing on the package of the ones I bought!

Re: Wolfman Tickets on Universal Blus

Picked up the BD of An American Werewolf In London marked with the $10 Wolfman Movie Cash sticker at Fry's today.

Price on BD case reads $19.99, but rings up at $15.99.

Thanks for the heads up, OP!!
