The Godfather (The Coppola Restoration) is part of the $10 Upgrade Rebate. If you have the dvd it'll only be 10 dollars. Hopefully the yellow rebate sticker will be on the slipcover like on Braveheart, Forest Gump, etc... so we know for sure.

$20 total for both titles after the two $10 offers is a decent price.

Wouldn't it be $10 for both titles?

$40 - $10 instant savings - $10 upgrade rebate - $10 upgrade rebate = $10.

As much as I love the Godfather films and think they are perhaps the best films ever made, I just don't enjoy watching them that often. But for $10 total I might upgrade.

The Official Mail-In Certificate included in the Braveheart I purchased had Transformers (first one), It's A Wonderful Life, Gladiator, Braveheart, Forest Gump and The Godfather (the Coppola restoration) as the qualifying selections. The Godfather part II was not included, so no 2nd $10 upgrade rebate.

Not to say Paramount won't add the second one to the offer.

Raging bull is $8.99 at Amazon.

I doubt the Godfather has a $10 rebate. IIRC the one pictured on the rebate form was the trilogy boxset.

I had a Target giftcard to use. In addition, the free super saving shipping at Amazon tends to take a week or so to arrive, and I really didn't feel like waiting.

Hey, if anyone is intersted, I did see This is Spinal Tap for $14.99 at my two closest Targets, it's currently cheaper than Amazon.

FYI, looks like Amazon has matched most of these prices. Serenity and Ed Scissor dropped in price late yesterday.
