I was considering getting Stargate. The original version is $2.77 and the 15th Anniversary edition is $7.15. Is it worth the extra money for the anniversary edition? I was thinking I read it was better, but wasn't sure why. Is it the PQ or the features? I'm not too concerned about features if I can get it for

I totally agree. Why have a website if it crashes anytime you get any kind of business?!? Every time I try to add something, the site goes down. I don't understand how anyone is completing an order.

Well, I placed four orders for a total of about $120. The site's so unbelievably slow that I would just click a link, do a little work, click a link, do a little work, and so on. I would've spent twice as much as I did if it weren't for items I added to my cart going out of stock before I could check out. As it is, here's what I snagged. I'd add something to my cart, got over $25, and one would go OOS. Add something new, return to cart. Something else is OOS.

I'm sticking to one order, enough of this crap.

Anyone get any weird phone calls? I just received an automated voice mail, that I needed to call a number to verify a recent purchase with my PayPal card. Google is split on of its a scam or not.

Well I got 4 orders in, but I have an uneasy feeling that Hastings might start canceling orders. Just because you got through the order page doesn't mean you will get the item. I've had Hastings canceled particular items after I placed the order.

This sale just got too much exposure. Over 20K views on Slickdeals.

Oh man, to me that would suck even worse! Going through all the flippin' hassle of actually getting an order through on their website only to have all or a portion cancelled... due once again to their crappy inventory control... I always try to be at least civil when speaking with customer service folks by phone, but I'm afraid that might push me over the edge into saying some rather unkind things. How sites like this can even exist and/or make money boggles my mind given their inventory issues...
