Finally Robin Hood has dropped. Definitely picking that up. Wish Clerks 2 and Dogma were a bit cheaper. I missed the $8 Dogma at Amazon a few weeks ago.

Re: Best Buy Weekly Ad 1/10/10 - 1/16/10

my local best buy has never had clerks 2 on blu (that I've seen, and I look regularly), so I'll believe it when I see it.

Might pick up S4 and S5 of Lost

Dogma has been $7.99 before on Amazon and I actually picked up a new copy of Clerks 2 for $6.99 before from Zia (a chain in Nevada / Arizona).

Re: Best Buy Weekly Ad 1/10/10 - 1/16/10

It should also be noted that two of the greatest action movies of all time, Cliffhanger and Last Action Hero, also come out on BD 1/12.

Okay, I kid about LAH. Cliffhanger is actually (I think) Sly's best. LAH is a guilty pleasure of mine.

Last Action Hero is a guilty pleasure of mine as well. It'll be great to see it on widescreen after Sony pulled the old switcheroo by dropping the WS of the WS/FS flipper discs.

Danny: "Um, where are the Schwarzenegger movies?"
Blockbuster Clerk: "Foreign films are in the back."

Re: Best Buy Weekly Ad 1/10/10 - 1/16/10

Seriously! Lost on blu for $35! I'm definitely picking up S5, as I was looking to pay $45 for it, anyway. If I had the money, I'd be tempted to go ahead and pick up S1-S3. I wish I could have gotten in on the Amazon deal, but I didn't have any money . I have a $5 rewards certificate for BB. I was thinking about putting it on Pushing Daisies, but I think the sale will go off before I get the money. Robin Hood: POT would be tempting, too, at $10. My wife has never seen that movie, and I've been wanting to have her watch it. Having it on blu-ray would give me another reason to watch it.

And I'm in on the Last Action Hero being a guilty pleasure. I haven't seen it in a long time, though. But I do remember the first day of release (I believe it was released the same day as Jurassic Park) and waiting outside to get my ticket for it. I remember thinking Jurassic Park looked stupid, and LAH should be the #1 movie But that's because I had started writing a script that was a similar concept where kids get sucked into a movie (although it was a fantasy movie and not an action movie), so I was hoping LAH would do well. I guess I was wrong . I'll admit, though, that LAH was cheesy (and of course Jurassic Park is far better), but it's still fun to watch just for the in-jokes about Schwarzenegger movies and seeing Sly on the standee for Terminator 2.

Anytime I see it posted, I liked to recommend to others, if you're on the fence about Sunshine Cleaning, pick it up.

Very good movie AND Emily Blunt and Amy Adams. $12.99 isn't $9.99, but it's a heck of a deal for a very under-rated flick.

I agree. I was tempted to get it at $9.99, but needed to watch my money. Well worth seeing. Maybe it'll be cheap another time when I have money to spend

Yeah, I rented it when it was released and really enjoyed it. I just never got around to picking it up.

EDIT: Actually, it is $9.99 on Amazon right now and since I have the Prime trial, I went ahead and ordered it.
