Re: Target Media Prices December 27, 2009 - January 2, 2010

This is somewhat unrelated, but the copy for 9 says "from producers Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov"

Ok, I will concede that everyone knows who Tim Burton is, but Timur Bekmambetov? Wouldn't it make more sense to do the "from the director of Wanted" thing?

I just watched Wanted again last night and I still didn't know who that was until you said "from the director of Wanted".

It's a shame, Funny People is finally at a decent price but the $5 off will be expired by then....

Damn. Gotta break the habit of mentally deducting $5 from all the BD prices.

The Hangover and Terminator Salvation have white writing at the top which I believe indicates that a digital copy will come with them and maybe the DVD. I looked on Amazon and their boxes didn’t have the white writing. Are there different versions of Blu-Ray disks out there?

Both come (or came) with a Digital Copy only. Terminator has already dropped the Digital Copy from the latest shipments and I expect Hangover to do the same. When you see no slip cover you likely won't get the Digital Copy.

New episodes won't be airing until April so they are trying to garner interest in it. Personally, I'd just wait for the entire Season.

Where is that in the ad?
You can (I've already done this with other BDs) buy it now using the coupons and then have the price adjusted.

Not very likely...the Target store coupon actually lowers the price on your receipt for the item by $5....if you bought it today at a $24.99 regular price (just throwing out a number, don't know what the regular price actually is), after you give them the coupon, it shows the price you paid on your receipt as being $19.99....if you went back for a "price adjustment" when it is on sale for $19.99, they'll tell you you already bought it at the price....why would they give you any money back when the coupon is no longer valid?

Maybe not at your Target, but at mine they are very helpful and accommodating. I've done it in the past and will try it again. Doesn't hurt and looking at my receipt it says $14.96 after $5 off coupon. I'll just bring in the WM ad that I used to PM plus the receipt and give it a try. Should work, but if it doesn't that's ok since I've made so many great BD buys over the past month or so anyway

How much for the Battlestar Galactica season on that ad? I can't quite make out the price.
