Then go to the FYE at the mall and pay list for your movies and leave the rest of us to rapidly follow the path to eternal damnation we clearly enjoy running along.

Terminator Salvation was sold out at my Target. There were rain checks instead. Can anybody explain to me how that works? I really want the movie for $11.99.

Honestly, I would love for you to expand on how it's dishonest. Seriously.

You're literally taking food right out of those starving Best Buy employee's children's mouths. I can just see the stony-faced manager walking into his store on Christmas Eve, looking his employees in the eyes and saying "Sorry, you're all getting laid off. Somebody.....price-matched" and then they all leave to get in line at the soup kitchen, praying that they find a used pair of socks in the dumpster out back so they can avoid frostbite this Christmas morning.

Is the 3-day sale ad currently in stores? There's a BestBuy and Target in the same shopping center where I frequent, so this will be easy to do if these ads are available in-store.

I hope brocklanders doesn't find out that when Circuit City was still around and speedy was posting the ads weeks in advance, I'd go to Beast Buy and pre-buy stuff at the regular price, then go back when the CC ad was on sale and get 110% of the difference and Reward Zone points to boot. He'd just call the attorney general on me, wouldn't he?

Raincheck won't help since you are going to PM BestBuy's ad. Your Target should get a restock of T4 or you are s**t out of luck.

Dude, I don't know WHAT you are driving, but if it is costing you $10 in gas to drive your car 15 miles, you should:

A) Get a new car with better MPG or
B) Move somewhere where gas isn't $7 a gallon

WHOA! $10 in gas to drive 15 miles!?! WTF kind of car do you think these "folks" drive? I doubt you could find a car on this planet that gets that bad of of an mpg, unless your "car" is actually a Boeing 747 then I guess it's plausible.

Hey, btw welcome to the forum. If you stick around long enough you'll soon discover that you'll find many stupid quirks us "folks" have... like burning $10 in driving 15 miles just to save $2... strike that, to come away empty handed. I should know... I've done this many times hunting for deals.

Yes, this is a nation-wide policy (see here). Don't know when they started doing this again, but it's pretty awesome.

Thanks for posting the sale, OP. If I can get ahold of one of those ads, I'm going to try and pick up Terminator Salvation. I usually get my papers the day after print date, so I'll see what's what tomorrow.

Yeah, I've been eyeing Terminator Salvation since I saw a preview for it on The Hangover the other day. Looks interesting enough to me

Remember it your Target does not have any on the shelf... Ask an employee.. They keep many copies in the back.. Lately I have asked and the employee checks stock and then goes in the back and grabs me a copy... Which I find really really weird...

This is the opposite of my recent experience. We went into Target looking for G-Force around 6 or so the night it was released. When I found a gaping hole in the endcap where the BD release should have been, I asked an employee, "I guess you're out of G-Force on Blu-ray?" to which he replied, "Yep!" and proceeded to giggle as he kept walking away from me. Giggle!

alright ... went to Target in van nuys (by the 405) and they said they couldn't do it because it was a 3 day sale ...

went to the next target (raymer) and they did it no problem & accepted the $5 coupon for Half Blood Prince & Terminator Salvation on top of the price match ....

returned Harry potter at wal mart for which i got for $15

and terminator returned at target (raymer) which i got for 14.99 ...

That's what I thought when I saw the previews. Then I netflixed it this week to make a decision rather than just blind buying it with this Target sale and I found the film to be one of the most boring and bland cinematic experiences of the year.

He was probably giggling because you were trying to buy G-Force. Sometimes people do have to do things for their kids though, aye? Not that I have any myself...

Funny you say that, I had it in my hand last night but I had just beard so many terrible things I put it back and decided I'll just hold off until I can see it.

Re: Best Buy 3-Day Sale 12/17-12/19 Select BDs $16.99

Went to Target with the BB ad, headed over to customer service, asked them to price match the Blu-Ray. She actually pulled out a sheet listing all the times they couldn't price match (she said to make sure that it wasn't a "limited time ad", which she said BB's wasn't - sweet!). So then I put the coupon down on the counter and got the "well now those probably won't work if you're price matching" talk. Then she said "This looks like it's only good on Transformers 2." The Target employee who happened to be standing next to me on my side of counter corrected her (thanks dude!), the other guy scanned the coupon, and so I got Four Christmases for $12.71 tax included. Thanks for the heads up guys!

Plus I got 2 codes inside for the Buy 5 get 1 free deal, so that's 1 less Warner Blu-Ray I have to buy...score!
