I don't post much in here, but while surfing the Firefox add-on site I found something that I know will come in handy for me and maybe some of you, too. The add-on tracks prices of items you select on Amazon, and whenever the price decreases you get a pop up alerting you of the new price. Sorry if this is against the rules, because it's not necessarily a deal right now, but I think it could be beneficial for some of us stingy shoppers!

Do you know if it works on items from Amazon's marketplace? If so then i'd be really interested.

Why are there some products that can't be tracked?
A: PriceDrop can't track the following products:

* Products that are not sold directly by Amazon, but sold by third party providers
* Amazon Products that have multiple variations; for example, apparel products that vary by size and color
* Some Kindle books for which Amazon does not provide pricing information

I've added quite a few things and it has been working perfectly. I just tried something else, and it still worked. I don't know why it is not working properly for you, Giz.

I assume it will pop-up if the price drops for items I've selected?

Yes, or you can go to that menu item I screen capped in the first post and it will outline the original and the new price for you.

Thanks a lot OP for this tracking utility. I was using this http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/deals.php so far for tracking any price drop on blu-ray at Amazon.

weird. i went to check what i had 'tracked' this morning and it shows i have nothing tracked? Does it reset itself everyday?

Thanks OP! This is pretty cool - all tracked items on one page with current and previous pricing. Even works for my Amazon UK basket. Now, I just need everything to drop in price to make sure it is working properly...

If you install this on multiple computers, does it keep the tracked items in sync based on your Amazon account? Kinda useless if only the PC at home has the drop alerts.
