I'm sure they could stop honoring the coupon if they believe people are making copies or scanning it as the coupon says not to do this. As well as there only supposed to be 2 coupons per household.

But companies are not liable for mistakes (generally). I bet that this coupon was supposed to be $5 off Transformers, and somebody screwed up. Plus what g said. So they have at least two possible outs.

That said, I'll keep using it on sale BDs for as long as I can.

Will try the Drag Me to Hell double coupon thing tonight.

Looks like Terminator Salvation might be $15.99 in store on Tuesday. The $5 coupon would make that a sweet price.

Loving this coupon. I was able to price-match Best Buy's $9.99 price on Donnie Darko and walked out with it for $4.99 plus tax.

I was thinking that too initially, but I've been reading all the posts and I'm convinced it is a generic $5 off any Blu-ray coupon. Others are reporting that it does work with different titles also, but even with that there's an inconsistency: some guy in Illinois got it to work on Gone with the Wind, but I'm in California and it didn't work for me on that movie. That makes it seem like a problem with their computer systems.

Also, you know how their registers will periodically spit out miscellaneous coupons for stuff? I've had a couple for "$5 off Blu-ray" in the past, and they never scanned either. It always wound up being a call-the-manager-to-approve situation. So there's my 2 cents....

I hope you're right. Another month of $5 off their frequent sale prices will be nice.

As for the some people getting it to scan/work and some people not, a lot of that may be the cashier just quickly hitting the K1 button to accept it. I only had a cashier ask for manager approval once (and all he did was hit K1 and walk away), all the other times the cashier did it with no hesitation. But yes, some items it scanned fine and some it doesn't, maybe Target doesn't have a blu-ray tag in their database on some of the titles, or some other little software glitch.

Just use the PDF someone posted on page 2. It has 3 coupons to a page. Much nicer than the website...

Possibly. But have you tried it since the first day? It didn't work on GWTW on the first day the coupon was posted. I tried it the next day and it worked...

Re: Target $5 off BD printable coupon

Went to three Targets -- very bummed that none had Wizard of Oz (if anyone picked up an extra copy, I would happily pay you the coupon purchase price + shipping!).

I did manage to get:
Wild Bunch $5.42
Reservoir Dogs $4.18
Kill Bill 1 $10.86
Kill Bill 2 $10.85
Gone With the Wind $8.69

Re: Target $5 off BD printable coupon

Sorry for the long post but i had to tell this story.
I took my movies that i purchased on Friday, my receipt, my $10 GC (from spend $100 get $10 GC before noon), and 8 coupons to CS yesterday night. Pardon my french but my fucking luck i got an idiot employee who did not even know how to return stuff so she called her manager over. Manager showed her how to do it and told her to return everything first then use coupons and scan all the movies again. She screwed that one up too and called her manager again. This time manager was pissed and she do it herself. She scanned WoO and the coupon but coupon didn't work for WoO. I told her to scan some other movie but she asked another employee if he would interpret the coupon as for only Transformers 2 or for any blu-ray and he said only for Transformers 2. I tried to explain that it says blu-ray disc $5 or more and why would it say that if it didn't intend for any blu-ray disc. Well she was already pissed with her employee she start being an ass to me so I didnt wanted to argue anymore and I told her it is ok. But what made me crazy mad was employee doesn't know how to return my $10 GC and manager asking me if I still want my movies and my coupons back. WTF ! I said yes and told her to just fix everything back how it was and I left there before I lost my fucking mind. If this coupon turns out to be for any blu-ray and it doesn't matter if it is 2 per household I am going to go back find that fuckin manager and I am going to make her adjust my prices with coupons and after that I am going to file a complain b/c I am fed up with target not honoring their own coupons ( they didn't honor their UP! Monster inc. Coupon either ).

Re: Target $5 off BD printable coupon

According to Target's website, a lot of the cheap blu-rays listed in this thread (Terminator, Aviator, etc) have gone way up in price. Were those prices only good until yesterday? If so, what are the chances of being able to price match to Best Buy's prices ($7.99 blu-rays, like Terminator) and then throw the $5 off any blu-ray coupon on top of that?

Re: Target $5 off BD printable coupon

Went yesterday and got:

Coraline Blu with DVD and 3-d Glasses & Slipcover 9.99
Star Wars Clone Wars with Comic $7.99
Pineapple Express $7.99
Gone With The Wind $7.99
Gremlins $7.99
Underworld 3 Rise of the Lycans 7.99
Step Brothers 7.99
Paul Blart Mall Cop 7.99
Snow Buddies $4.99 (Used the $10.00 off Snow Buddies Disney Coupon too)
Stargate 3.99
Chaos 3.99

They took 7 coupons in one transaction. Then I went back and decided on 4 more. Took those 4 coupons all in 1 transaction too. No strange looks, no argument just all smiles!

Good Day!

Went today and all the prices are back to normal. I wouldn't have bought any at regular prices even with $5.00 off.

Thank goodness for Black Friday pricing and -$5!!!!
