It's about to go live in a few minutes, thought I'd give people a heads up. Not sure which it is, although I suspect it's the series. What's the cheapest it's been on Amazon before?

Any mods want to update the title to include what is actually on sale and for how much?

This is the lowest I have seen it, but this seems to be one that is really marked down on DVD about every other month. I'm expecting the Blu to do the same thing at some point. I can wait. (great series to get though if you don't already have it)

For $34.99, it's definitely worth it even if it's bought sight unseen.

And if you need instant gratification, Wal-Mart sells the set now for $39.

Your going to have to get pretty lucky to beat 34.99 shipped on eBay. Sure it's doable with quite a bit of work, but at that price on Amazon it's a no-brainer and safer.

I bought this series on DVD a few weeks ago for $12.99 from BB, but all the good reviews of the Blu made me decide to return the DVD set and order the Gold Box deal from Amazon. I don't need everything in BR, but Sci-Fi stuff is my weakness. Now I need to buy Serenity in BR.

By the time I checked out, the offer was 94% Claimed. Glad I saw this thread just in time. :)

Well shit. Clicked on the link and it was 97% claimed. Got an im from my boss and responded to it and it went to 100% claimed in that 10 seconds. Oh well.

I missed out, but it's probably just as well. Given my backlog of unwatched stuff, I wouldn't get to this for months (and I already have the DVD set).

when i went to the deal it was at 92 per cent claimed so i bought it right then and there,took me about 45 seconds to checkout and i went back to the deals page and it was 99 per cent claimed then sold out about 30 seconds later later

Missed it, but I already own the SD series, so I probably shouldn't be spending the money anyway... Great series, though...
