Typically, Amazon has all their Blu-ray Criterions cheaper than the DVD versions. Thanks for the link.

Wait a week for the Barnes & Noble sale and you're looking at $20 or less.

If you don't have to have it right now, you should actually wait for the B&N 50% off sale. During this sale you should be able to pick it up for under $14. They had one back in November that many people on this site took advantage of - too many great deals during that one. Most of the Criterions I picked up were about $13.88 each (some were able to get a little lower depending on how the cashiers took the coupons).

Don't hold me to this, but the last one was towards the end of November (and Amazon dropped the price of a bunch of Criterion blu rays to about $18.67 during this sale as well), and thought they were held about 2x a year. So, the next one would most likely occur in the April-May time frame. As I said, don't hold me to this - they could change their sales altogether and not have one.

A lot was cleared out of B&N during that sale...with the help of many of the fine folks roaming these boards.

I think it has only happened twice, so sort of hard to be sure when they'll have another. Soon I hope, I am holding out for a great deal to pick up the Paris Texas blu-ray.
