ALL New Blu-ray Movies at Hastings B1G1 - Ends tonight at Midnight!
Hey, just got back from Hastings's midnight release party for Wolverine. They are having a Buy One Get One on all new Blu-ray movies until Midnight. It started at ten, and there isn't much time left for the sale but I thought others might like to know about it - there's still time!

Here's my haul:
Akira $29.99
Rudo y Cursi - Free
The Wages of Fear (Criterion) - $29.99
A River Runs Through It - Free
Young Frankenstein - $24.99
Big Trouble in Little China - Free
Dr. Strangelove - Or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love The Bomb - $24.99
My Cousin Vinny - Free
Braveheart - $24.99
Gladiator - Free
Grease - $21.99
Terminator 2: Judgment Day - Skynet Edition - Free
Ferris Bueller' Day Off - $21.99
Warriors of Heaven and Earth - Free
True Romance - $19.99
Twilight Zone: The Movie - Free
Total cost was around $200. It averaged out to about $13 a movie!
Also - I feel like I was paid for Akira. I paid $4 originally for the DVD 2-Disc then sold it for $15 when it was out of print and the Blu-ray still wasn't available. Then I paid $13 for the Blu-ray (with the slipcase) because I got borders bucks for free for filling out surveys, then I sold that copy for $45 on eBay, and now I have purchased it again (this time to keep!) for $15 on average. So total cost was... -$28. It's like I got paid that much to finally, in the end, have this incredible movie.

It's because it ties in with the Midnight Release parties they have. I agree though that it's tough on a work day. After a full day of work and then a 3-hour class I barely made it there in time for the sale. I'm glad I did though. They only had one copy each of most titles and I got several great ones.
