Re: Best Buy Media Prices - Sept 13- 19
Thanks for the ad -
I was hoping for some better prices on the Xmen set (or at least Xmen 2 to be in the 2-for-30 along with 1&3). I think I'll stick with WalMart on Wolverine to get the BD+DVD+DC pack for a buck more.
How does the Sideshow gift card thing work? I have one from T2:Skynet (for $50). Are they real gift cards or are they like a coupon for $50 off certain products (1 per order)?

I had the same question. Can these gift cards be combined. I just opened my T2:Skynet Blu-ray case and had two $50 cards in it. I was wondering what was making all that noise in the case when I shaked it.

Score, just pre-ordered the Wolverine bust set for in-store pickup. I'm assuming the $50 sideshow collectibles is inside the box? I've never gotten one before.
T2:Skynet blu-ray had a sideshow collectible gift card? Mine didn't.

For as much as a completist and X-Men fan as I am, I just don't think I can bring myself to buying Wolverine. At least not until it can be had for < $15.

No price on My Name Is Earl S4 blu?
I'll probably pick up Pineapple Express and Step Brothers (or The International) for $30.

I don't think they can be combined and they can only be used on select items.

Not sure on the combining but was surprised to find out my T2 also had a $50 gift card in it. I used it to order the "Nightmare Before Christmas" movie scroll and ended up only paying for shipping as it was under $50. Not something that I would have ordered but the price was right.
As has been mentioned, there is usually a limited selection you can apply it to and can make your own decision when you see what's offered.
Any-whoo, that Wolverine set looks nice and may need to pick that up.

the 2 dvd images were blocked/blu'd out by a forum member who posted the images over at blu-ray.com
it is a blu specific website so that is why he/she didn't care to show the dvd releases
if you care to see the ad as it appears in the circular you can click the link in the first post and download from there... I didn't post that image because the images weren't hosted (just the file)

Does any one know what other Blu-ray movies came with a sideshow collectible gift card? I am positive I have another $50 gift card but have no idea which blu-ray movie it's in.
