I don't think these are worth hitting the Wally stores, waiting in lines, and getting flipped in the face with hundreds of mullets and run over in the parking lot by dozens of PT Cruisers and Escalades. If they offer an online solution for a short-period of time, I'd be game.

Nothing terribly exciting in the ad. I am curious what other $10 TV season they will have though. That might be worth a trip.

WHY is the Clash of the Titans remake still a $10 title on Black Friday? That one has gone lower multiple times throughout the year. I was certain it would be in the $5 selection.

I wonder if Inception is the regular version or some kind of stripped down Wal-Mart exclusive.

I thought the same thing as well last night, but if it was any bigger it would hit you right in the face. It's listed right in the middle of the page in big lettering. I'm so conditioned to look for the tiny lettering on ads that disclose that detail aboout a sale

Looks like they have a lot of the same stuff from last year in this year's ad though.
I don't know how it was at other people's Walmarts, but at mine these "pallets" (wrapped display boxes) were fairly close together and people packed so tightly that 30 minutes before midnight it was very difficult to get near one or move to another pallet once there. The employees were unable to get near the pallets, so people just ripped off the plastic themselves at midnight. It was chaotic and unpleasant. I preferred when they started at 5 AM.

I went back later last BF night and checked the lists posted of what BDs people found, and most of the BDs were still there but few of the console games, so I'm hoping that happens again and most BDs will exist in sufficient quantities. Last time I learned something: there are only 1 or 2 pallets of games vs. maybe 10+ of movies. Guess which one I'm positioning myself by next time (even though there aren't any games pictured that interest me)?

Glancing at the $5 and $10 BDs for BF, there's nothing special or spectacular, but we also know from past experience they will have other titles and that's where the potential "scores" will be. Sadly we won't know until BF hits and the eastern time zone people post first. Last time people kept asking what the titles were and nobody knew and nobody will know. Why? Because the pallets arrive wrapped and covered and only a Walmart employee willing to cut them open early (and risk getting in trouble) could find out.

Someone posted a Walmart BF thread at http://forum.dvdtalk.com/blu-ray-bar...friday-ad.html, but it looks like most of the discussion is here.

Nobody mentioned one good deal... $150 after $50 GC 4 GB Xbox 360 slim with Kinect bundle. I'd really like a Kinect and that's $50 cheaper than Amazon... but knowing the normal chaos of BF Amazon may PM Walmart at the last minute. It's actually laughable that the Kinect by itself is $100 but you can get an extra console + controller for $50 more.

re: Walmart / walmart.com discounts and deals on Blu-ray

This may be extremely YMMV but some people over at bluray.com have reported some luck with this,

The 'Resident Evil' steelbooks that are $15 have been ringing up at $8 in some places.

I noticed at my local store that they have a sticker in the upper right corner that says '8 BD BIN' (something like that), which is the same sticker that is located in the same place on the current blu rays that ARE in the $8 Blu Ray bin.

I was in a rush the other day and could have pointed that out when they scanned, but maybe when I go back they'll have adjusted the price and I'll pick them up.

Anyway, might be worth checking out next time you're there

Still Full Tilt Boogie on blu. It's got to be as good if not better than the non-anamorphic version.

I've been wanting to see it but I couldn't bring myself to paying more than $10 for it. I lucked up & found the BR/DVD combo pack for $5 at a pawn shop.

Not a bad deal, four movies for $10, but they're still Echo Bridge pieces of shit. I think they might be all four films on a single disc, so they're probably compressed to hell.

I was wondering about this. I was interested in the Hellraiser 4-film set - but when I saw 1-disc, I was very leery. Amazon listed this for an 11/29 release, so I'm surprised WalFart is selling it already: http://www.amazon.com/Hellraiser-Film-Blu-ray-Craig-Sheffer/dp/B005M2AKLA/ref=sr_1_2?s=movies-tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1321240180&sr=1-2

The From Dusk Till Dawn 4 movie set lists Full Tilt Boogie as 1.78:1 aspect ratio. On my old CE 2 disc DVD, the doc is 1.33:1. Anyone know which one has the correct ratio? Did Echo bridge just crop off the top and bottom of the 1.33:1 image to make it 16:9?

Does the From Dusk Till Dawn set retain previous features?

The Echo Bridge single release of FDTD 3 had one special feature, Robert Rodriguez at the Premiere, is that included on the set?

I picked up the single disc edition of Bellflower yesterday for $20. It may be a Wal-Mart exclusive because according to Amazon there is a BD/DVD combo pack also.

Echo Bridge has not been placing any existing supplements on their BDs from the Miramax catalog. It's a travesty that Miramax licensed these titles to them.

Why From Dusk Till Dawn has gotten the shit treatment is beyond me. Echo Bridge is a company that has put out some shitty titles and it is too bad that this title got relegated to them.

Yeah, it does suck that Echo Bridge got anything from Miramax. Even the lame Hellraiser and Children of the Corn sequels deserve better treatment than that shit mill has given them.

Just left the local Wally. There are 1000's of people fighting over the movies. Took a nice walk and left the store without anything. Just not worth it

Scarface is one of the $10.00 Black Friday Blu-Rays.

The Scarface steelbook is not officially part of the sale BUT it also rang up at $10.00 for me.

Saw a few $5 blu's that weren't in the ad:

GoodFellas
The Good, The Bad and the Ugly
Platoon
X-2
X-Men: The Last Stand
