re: Walmart / walmart.com discounts and deals on Blu-ray
My nearest Wal-Mart is constantly shuffling their Blu-ray section around. Currently, there's the main Blu-ray section in the middle of the new release DVDs. Then there are bargain priced Blus in the big "H" display in front of electronics, and a handful of new release Blus mixed in with new release DVDs on an endcap. It's really sort of a mess, the new releases go out of stock almost immediately, and there doesn't seem to be any kind of strategy in their stock other than having a random assortment of titles.
This is something like the third or fourth time they've completely re-arranged their Blu section in the past twelve months. |

The WalMart by me now has increased their BR inventory. They still have them spread out in 3 areas but at least I know where they're at now.
I did find Cabin Fever  |
re: Walmart / walmart.com discounts and deals on Blu-ray
Just picked up the Walmart Exclusive Close Encounters for $15, Cabin Fever, 28 Days Later and Omega Man for $10 each.

Walmart exclusive? I didn't know that. What's missing/extra from the regular blu release?

Saw the Harrison Ford two-pack of Frantic/Presumed Innocent (2 movies on a bd-50 I presume) at Walmart for $19.98
...on a related note, with the $3 coupon good through 2/28, Pandorum can be had for $16.98 (no sales tax in Oregon) |

I'm hoping for more Lionsgate Blu rays to be out... Monster Squad and Cujo on Blu Ray for 10.00 a piece would be amazing!

Which sales rack are they located? The Bug H style rack? Or the square one with all the 7.00 DVDs?

re: Walmart / walmart.com discounts and deals on Blu-ray
My store had Dogma for $10 passed on Cabin Fever since it had less features than the dvd. Still haven't seen any blurays cheaper than $10 yet.

re: Walmart / walmart.com discounts and deals on Blu-ray
all the $8 blu-rays at my walmart are in the display with the "newer" releases, not the new release front shelf, but the main isle. b

re: Walmart / walmart.com discounts and deals on Blu-ray
Dogma is $13 at my local WM, tons of copies of the Saw 3-pack though.

That is correct - it has 2 oval stickers on the front, versus no stickers on the regular one. There was 3 copies, and the 1 I got was the only one that was an exclusive.

re: Walmart / walmart.com discounts and deals on Blu-ray
Has anybody seen Close Encounters in a Massachusetts / Rhode Island Wal*Mart? I couldn't find a copy at the North Attleboro Wal*Mart

Do the stickers say anything about it being a Walmart Exclusive or mention the bonus soundtrack? I'd like to know what to look for.
Of course, I could be wrong and YMMV. |

Thanks

BTW - That CE3K set is awesome.
It's a template of how Blu should be done. It was one of the titles that eventually made me go "purple". |

Anyone know what that saw 3 pack is going for?
They finally put out Monster Squad and Cujo tonight. 8 bucks a piece. You can't really beat that... they are re-arranging my walmart's electronics section tonight so I'm gonna go back tomorrow... maybe more stuff was put out, that saw 3 pack intrigues me. |
