Ben-hur, Casablanca and those other sets I actually saw in the Orange County area. I think it was Tustin or Irvine, don't quite recall as I went to both stores.

Interesting...must have been the last stop for them delivery trucks...the Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley and Cypress stores don't have any except for the Sound of Music set

I was at the northern NJ store and just picked up the Watchmen collectors bluray, they had 3 copies, and did see only 1 copy of the Woodstock, and 3 copies of Citizen Kane. Did not see Ben Hur yet or maybe just missed it. They did have a few of the big Harry Potter mega box there. Did not check out price.

I saw the Harry Potter sets at the Costco by me in Nova, I think it was $149.99. It was tempting, I just don't have the room to store it.

Finally saw all the sets mentioned at my local Costco. They had many copies of all the gift sets mentioned. Thank you for stating the price as except for Citizen Kane @ $24.99 none of the sets had the price marked.

Yeah, I just found that 40th Anniversary Woodstock set. Wasn't looking for it, but was at least tempted enough to pick it up at that price to hang onto for now. Grabbed a copy that curiously was labeled with some Target-exclusive bonus features included.
Let me know what you think of the set. I figure it's gotta be worth $25, right? I hate the huge, fringed-vest box though

My dumb Costco seemed to have stocked up on these (like there would be during a sale) but there was zero signage of any discount.

All had their regular prices on them.

Doesn't matter if there is a sign or not. Prices at checkout will ring up with the discount . Note that you actually have to check out, If you ask the clerk to scan the item to verify the instant off discount the instant off will not show. You have to trust that your fellow DVD Talkers are not making up the discount.
I have never found that to be the case.

Get used to that. Costco uses to have unbeatable deals but Media pricing has bottomed out so much there isnt much room for that anymore.
