Saw 18 of the Marilyn sets at the San Leandro Costco this afternoon. They were stacked with the DVDs, probably due to their DVD-like size.

Was just at Costco in Gaithersburg, MD and picked up the Clint Eastwood 10 movie collection on bluray for 29.99 and Planet Earth bluray for 12.99.

$29.99 for the 10 movie Clint Eastwood is a great price. Too bad I already bought about half of the BDs in the set separately.

Too bad Sam's Club never has good BD deals like this or the Forever Marilyn set. However, Sam's Club membership is cheaper (plus I got a discount promo) and is 1 mile away from where I live vs. 5 miles for Costco, so I'm a Sam's Club member and miss out on the good Costco BD deals.

Wait... are any of these BD available at Costco.com for this price with free shipping? I forgot that for some reason even though my Costco membership expired years ago, for some reason I can still order stuff online without any penalty. (I can't find any of them when I search on Costco.com.)

There's a Sam's about 2 miles away and a Costco 10+ miles away, but even with the difference in membership fee and distance, the Costco membership is well worth it to me. Costco has better overall product quality, better employees, generally better deals on the stuff I buy, and a better shopping experience hands down.

Thanks for all recent info! Got Marilyn Collection $24.99, Dirty Harry Collection $21.99 and the Grand Daddy of 'em all The Limited Edition of Lawrence Arabia ( Reminded me of them 'ol Laserdiscs) for $56.99!

Lots of 3D BLu rays for $14.99 including the last 2 Harry Potters ! Enjoy!

Other than Lawrence of Arabia my Costco had none of the box sets you mentioned. I wonder if some stores are waiting for Black Friday to put these out.

My store did have Sound Of Music Box for $19.99.
Friends complete series for $149.99 after $30 instant off . No coupon needed. Same as Amazon currently

I believe the Lord of the Rings extended edition was $49.99 not $46.99 at my Costco. I will have to check next time. I hope Costco is not doing variable pricing at different locations.

Twilight Zone Complete Series $152.99
Dick Van Dyke Show Complete Series $152.99
Jaws $9,99
Back to The Future Trilogy $22.99
Jurassic Park Trilogy $22.99

Disney blu rays have a $8 off instant coupon bringing price to $16.99 but tax on $24.99. Disney 3D also have $8 off but their regular price is more.
