And I don't think you even need the receipt. They can pull up records of all your purchases via your membership account. Got my HDTV just before the change. It is SO going back to Costco when it dies.

Now Sin City is available for a decent price! Already purchased the UK version a bit back. Went yesterday and picked up the Tombstone and Armageddon deal.

I haven't decided if I'm going to take back that old player, but I appreciate i86time's defense that a person simply following a policy that was in place at the time is not a criminal or bad person even if the policy has changed now. Considering I've NEVER returned any used electronics item to Costco in my life, if I did it once on an item that broke I won't have the suicidal guilt trip that Dominay would like me to have.
My bigger issue may be that it's on my father's Costco account (and he died long ago), so who knows if they'd find an excuse that the original purchaser must be present.

Not quite as good as $15 for both, back on release week at Target, but probably the best deal since.

Picked up Sin City today. As well as Crimson Tide and Apacolypto for $10.99. They also had No Country for Old Men and Gone in 60 Seconds for $10.99.
In non-Disney Blu-Ray sales, I saw the original talking horse movie of 2008, Sex and the City, for $12.99.

Also saw the $12.99 blu's appear today. Picked up Sin City (which beats Amazon by $4.) Of the $10.99 titles listed two posts above, include Pearl Harbor.

Just saw everything mentioned at my Costco. They had about 6 each of Sin City and Surrogates (w/ slip).
$10.99 titles:
Pearl Harbor
Gone in 60 Seconds
Crimson Tide
Apocalypto
No Country for Old Men
Miracle at St. Anna
I would have bought Pearl Harbor if it was the Director's Cut. Until then I'll stick with my 4-disk DVD.

Really? You're calling me out on that? Seriously?
In the context here I was correct, the items being discussed are fully returnable. I was paraphrasing/listing the two main items that are part of the 90 day list.
Laser disc players have always been lifetime, DVD and blu-ray players still are lifetime.

People buy from Costco because of the policy (they sure as heck don't have the best prices), and most people don't abuse it.

"You will take back the blu-ray player and refund my money."
"We will take back the blu-ray player and refund your money."
It worked like a charm. Thanks Mr. Lucas.
Oddly, this doesn't seem to work at other stores like Best Buy. I'm not sure why.
