Melville NY Costco had these today, but I didn't see more than 1-3 copies of each. Grabbed Apocalypto and Crimson Tide. Great price. Had my annual rebate coupon from the Costco AMEX card (worth about $30), so these were basically free. My $10 or so average per title for the 40 or so BDs I now own holds. This is working out cheaper than buying DVDs was when I first got into that back in 1999.

re: Costco discounts and deals on Blu-ray

Beginning Tuesday June 1 there is an instant $10 off the Warner Best of Blu-ray 4 movie box sets. The regular Costco price is $35, so these will be $25 each.

The sets are:
The Best of Blu-ray - Action (Troy Director's Cut / Blood Diamond / Wyatt Earp / Alexander Revisited The Final Cut)

The Best of Blu-ray Disc, Volume One (Lethal Weapon / The Road Warrior / Swordfish / Training Day)

The Best of Blu-ray Disc, Volume Three (Blazing Saddles / The Departed / GoodFellas / Superman - The Movie)

The Best of Blu-ray, Volume Two (The Last Samurai / The Phantom of the Opera / Unforgiven / The Fugitive)

The Best of Blu-ray - Family (Happy Feet / Tim Burton's Corpse Bride / Scooby-Doo / The Ant Bully)

Update: The above sets seem to be going pretty fast. I went Costco in Connecticut Tuesday and they only had a combined total of about 10 sets left. I don't know if they had more under the table.
They should make a nice gift for someone just getting into blu-ray.

I saw the MGM combo Blu-ray/DVD movies for $8.99 each
Films include
The Graduate
Terminator
Hoosiers
A Bridge Too Far
Silence of the Lambs
and others.
They are in DVD type case.

Posted this in the DVD thread by mistake, but Costco has the Godfather BD set at $39.99 ($49.99 -$10.00 IR) this month.

Has anyone seen The Longest Day and/or The Good, The Bad and The Ugly? If so, what are the prices?

Never Say Never Again

It's in DVD packaging though, so I'm still debating whether to keep it or not.

How about 'Cocoon'? I see the ad lists $3 off it, just curious what the price is in-store since I've never seen it at a Costco.

Was in Costco and put Mash (original movie) in my cart marked at $12.99. Surprise, surprise when it rang up with $3.00 off for $9.99.

re: Costco discounts and deals on Blu-ray

It's sad that I have at least 1 or 2 titles in every BD 4-pack listed. I don't know if I've ever bought a multi-movie-pack in my life because I always already have some of the titles they select in every pack. Fortunately my cost on the individual BDs I already have was about the same.

The Godfather BD collection at $40 + tax is a good but not mind-blowing price. It was $42 at Amazon in December '08, $37.42 at DeepDiscount in July '09, and $45.49 at Amazon last month. I won't be buying it until it's under $20.

re: Costco discounts and deals on Blu-ray

I put this in the Costco DVD thread. It probably belongs here (if it belongs anywhere).

Also, local Costco had sign up "$3.00 off Disney BD." I'm not sure which titles were included, but they had two of the Pirates of the Caribbean series (1st and 3rd, I think) for 12.99. So, maybe, those discs would only be $9.99. I did not try to buy them, so I'm not sure.

Was the $10 an Instant Rebate in-store?

If so, I might have to pick up the X-Men set. I don't own the 1st film and would love to upgrade Parts 2/3.

On Tuesday I picked up At World's End along with Sin City. Both rang up $12.99. So looks like the Pirates movies aren't part of the Disney deal.

Yes, it was an automatic $10 off at register, although I did not see any sign listing it as such. From what I read, I think they have a James Bond and Rocky set with the $10 off also

Saw Cocoon available this afternoon for $12.99 - $3 = $9.99. Also picked up Mel Brooks History of the World and The Edge for the same price. 3 for $30 works for me.

BVHE Assortment, $3 instant rebate, good through June 27. It's all the discs with number "520868" on the sticker.

$12.99 - $3.00 IR = $9.99

At my Costco, they had:

Signs
The Sixth Sense
The Legend of Drunken Master
The Recruit
King Arthur
The Brothers Grimm
Hidalgo
The Greatest Game Ever Played
The Great Raid
Invincible (2006)

Not at my location(Milford, CT). They had a ton of these a couple of weeks ago. Alas, none were to be found this past weekend.
