I was told today one of my items was on backorder and the entire order would ship when it came in. Expected arrival date was today...that never happened, obviously. Nothing about the order being cancelled or anything else.

I finally figured out why people are speaking of delivery dates when they havn't even gotten a shipping confirmation.
It appears to be a guesstimation on the order receipt.
Heck, if I went by those type of dates, I'd be bald from pulling my hair out every time an etailer missed the mark.

Exactly, as I said earlier, the date they give you before your items have shipped is useless.

The only date that matters is the one that you get from UPS itself. The big day for the monday orders will be this coming Monday or Tuesday, as those will be within the 5 business day window. But with the volume or orders, especially for certain titles (300, Shawshank, etc.), who knows when they'll get enough to send out all the orders.

Here's some good news though. It looks like some of the popular titles are back in stock. 300 is back to shipping in 1 day. So are both Harold and Kumar movies. In fact, everything on my second order is back in stock except for Shawshank. True Blood and Chuck are also on the 5 day list.

So if you have one of those last 3, that might explain your lack of shipping.

It's also customary when buying online that, if an item is backordered, there is an indication of that status on the order itself. All four of my items continue to say they are in stock in order history as well as when looking at the product page.

Does it say ships in 1 day or 5 days and what items are they?

Either way, the answer is that it's backordered, it'll ship when it ships, and we all just have to deal with it.

I was in the same boat and sent them an email asking for status. They told me that one of my titles, "Dirty Dozen" was on backorder and that all my titles would be shipped out shortly.

I went online to check the status of my order placed last Sunday and my order history was blank, no record of my purchase. Called customer support just to make sure everything was kosher and the rep said my purchase was authorized yesterday and should ship on Monday. So nothing to worry about I guess

Called customer service rep and she stated my order was being processed by the shipping department and will go out on Monday. Seems like a lot of orders will be shipping out on Monday. Good luck everyone!

You don't need an account to call and check the status of your order, they can look it up if you give them your billing address and phone number.

My card was charged for the correct amount ( ), but I still don't have a confirmation e-mail and my order status still shows in process. Hopefully it will just show up this week. Awesome that these went through.

all 4 of my orders charged this morning. I gotta hand it to WB, they really went the extra mile, most places would have just told us "tough sh**" and cancelled every order.

Can anybody in Hawaii tell me how their order shipped? I see I was finally charged for my order, though the accounts says "In Process" and I have no shipping e-mail. I know we got charged for "International shipping" to Hawaii (although we are part of the U.S.) but I was wondering if it is by USPS (if so, Media Mail, First Class or Priority) or UPS?
